pretty cool, the protocol is still charging all these asset squatters 5 xcp each right?

LOL, good luck with this. Technically, a "coupon" that represents an ownership interest in soybeans is a security. A "coupon" is literally, historically, a little tear-off piece of an actual security document. But you would at least have a decent argument against facing any kind of regulatory action, in that the SEC makes absolutely no attempt to regulate similar securities issued by companies such as Groupon and LivingSocial.

We are still in the "innovators" stage, so this is not very surprising. We have several more large UI changes upcoming, which should make it easier for people to use Counterparty, and help move us into the "early adopter" stage.

Counterwallet 1.3.0 RC1 Released and live!

New features in this release:

* Added Rock-Paper-Scissors
* Added Zeroconf support (show pending balances for assets)
* Added IP-based blocking capabilities for betting, RPS and dividend issuance features. We are currently blocking people with US-based IP addresses from using these features on counterwallet.co itself.

(Please don't complain about the last one. As US citizens, we are voluntarily choosing to do this in good faith, to reduce any potential legal risk from the operation of counterwallet.co.)

We have had inquiries from a few crypto development teams and/or supporters regarding having a line of proofs created for their crypto and are pleased to announce support of this concept going forward! The way this works is that prepayment for 30% of the inventory would be required and we will cover the remaining upfront investment of time and labor. We are testing the multi-server configuration for Counterwallet over the next few days. Let us know if you experience any oddness such as zero balances being displayed, errors accessing the site, etc.
(And note, if you see zero or incorrect balances, it's an error on the counterwallet side, instead of anything actually changing with your balance. You can verify at www.blockscan.com to be sure.)

NOTE: At this point I am seeing some issues with the chat feature that didn't come out in dev testing. I'll be looking more into those today.

We aim to keep our users informed of major events related to our application and want to address them where they are instead of expecting them to go through our thread for updates. As you may have noticed, we do not tend to flood the XCP thread with unnecessary posts. We only write when there is new information that is relevant to the XCP community, like in this case.
