Hi guys. With the Counterwallet mainnet release behind us, I've made my identity public to facilitate the continued evolution of Counterparty as we enter the next stage of growth.

Please see our blog post on this matter at: https://www.counterparty.co/next-steps/

I just wanted to let you know that the great work you've achieved in this time is appreciated from myself and I'm sure from many in the Counterparty community.

I'm looking forward to hearing more from yourself in the future. I think if you had the time, you could add mountains of value to the projects that are starting to pop up around the Counterparty ecosystem.

Mike Hearn on upcoming Bitcoin protocol updates:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XxB03SfGbU

Does anyone know more about the payment protocol part that he is referring to here at 5:40? It sounds like it is relevant to the OP_RETURN data size issue.

Great to see this. You know that the Counterparty and XCP already have a good Chinese name in the community: 合约协议(Counterparty)and 合约币(XCP)。Follow up the weibo 520Bit.

Hi, have there been any updates on the topic of XCP and Bitcoin blockchain & devs?

Pay-to-script-hash or Pay-to-PubKeyHash?

What version of OpenSSL was Bitcoin 0.8.6 using ?
+1
Should we be upgrading our Bitcion-qt to 0.9.1. If so will it affect Counterparty installation.

no unless you are opening SSL access on your RPC

when i write to the blockchain using xcp's transmit function, for say, issuing an asset or offering a trade on the dex, from an address that has more btc than is spent on a single transmit, where does the change go?

is there a way to "aim" that change toward an address of my choosing (perhaps the address that preforms the transmit)?

btw, xcp is awesome Smiley

edit: spelling
Change will return back to the same address (sending address)

Why do I see "Pending order to sell" for more than 20 hours now?
And how was I able to send another sell order for the same amount? (there is no more XCP on the account)

?

Attention all adventurers! I have created a pass-through for the official currency of The Kingdom of Loathing. The asset name is (obviously), MEAT.
