Counterwallet will be live on mainnet this Sunday, 6
April.

Amazing and great work! Congratulations all!
The release of counterwallet will greatly improve the acceptance of Counterparty's use. More and more people will use it easily.More stocks and assets and coins will be issued and traded through Counterparty protocol!

I honestly think its too early for mainnet with all the ongoing bugs and stuff, but well..the Counterparty release itself was rushed so I guess its in line with the high risk, first to market approach the dev team has taken all along.

I just tried to create a new webwallet but nothing happened after clicking on the "Open Wallet" button. Huh

a) Try it in Google Chrome (I had this issue in Firefox)
b) Check if you have Javascript blocked.
c) check for popup blockers

I can confirm the same issue using Firefox. Entering passphrase and clicking doesn't result in any activity after clicking "Open Wallet" which changes to blue when the passphrase is entered.

I just tried to create a new webwallet but nothing happened after clicking on the "Open Wallet" button. Huh

Try again in a minute or so. It's likely because X is working on something.

More likely, the passphrase was typed in wrong.

Why does blockscan.com always show the dex price as 0.01 when that is clearly not the price on any exchange?
Well yeah. That's the last price that XCP was sold on the dex. It wouldn't show any price on an exchange.

I know it wouldn't show the price of an exchange, but if you're correct it's the last price that XCP was sold for on the dex it shows the Dex is never/very rarely used by anyone  Undecided
That is true. I think the people that have spent the time getting counterpartyd up and running are probably larger stakeholders and are more informed on what XCP can do. They aren't going to sell cheap. It's probably a stand off on it. When the wallet comes out people just trading it as another coin will be able to use it and will sell it just at whatever the price is.
