People are selling stellar as there is a lot of fud in the market. I will suggest not to buy the dip but if you are holding stellar then do not sell it. One good news can pump it again. We should always think about the risk and rewards ratio when we invest in altcoins.
I think that in the near future we will see a lot of stellar news, as well as about new projects that are quite promising and will move the stellar platform to a higher level. The only hope for the stellar is that SEC does not come after them as they are also a "Security". If the stellar survives this (which i think is difficult), then we can see a big pump in its prices in alt season but on the other hand XLM will be RIP after XRP.
XLM and XRP are exactly the same technology. There's no logic that one is the "security" and other is not. XRP guys will cry foul if XLM is not delisted as XRP, and they will right.
Well one was sold (XRP) and the other was given away for free (XLM). That's the big difference I think.
