The BayPay Thought Leadership event was held on 19th April, where Jed McCaleb, the Co-Founder, and CTO of Stellar Development Foundation spoke about the past, present, and future of Stellar.

He started by explaining how the transactions on Stellar work and about how they get banks on board. He says that banks are not the first ones to take up this system of transaction. However, smaller financial institutions like money transfer operators that focus on payments will be more open to adopting this method of sending money.

He said:
Quote
“We are working with a few banks and none of them are in production. I don’t think of the banks using cryptocurrency are in production… I don’t think they’re going to do anything until they see a lot of money flowing somewhere else in the ecosystem first because they are the most risk-averse, they have the most to lose essentially.. we spend most of our time outside the US – mainly focus in South Asia, Africa.”

He further explains that there is a lot of friction in places where people do not have bank accounts, wherein the adoption of the Stellar network makes it easier for them to adopt the system.

When asked about how much responsibility they have as a network to allow ICOs to function, Jed talks about the company being unable to stop anyone from issuing a token on the network but they wouldn’t be involved in the same. However, he says “Our responsibility falls on the ones that we do work with.. we want to make sure there is reputable and valuable projects”.

He also says that people need to be careful while investing in ICOs as these are the early days in the space, due to which there are a lot of scams and fraudulent activities.
Very well said, is there any article link for this ?

Hold the lumens on the stellar.org site. Its only about 1% increase every year so it will not make you rich, But It is a correction for inflation It builds into a star.

The project without doubts is worth it to be among the best projects and to be in a list top. He any more not once proved that very good and reliable in all its relations. So who else thinks or did not buy this coin, I think now it is a high time to make it. Smiley
Yeah, I agree that Stellar will rise more but at the moment, smart investors will wait a bit to buy cheap Stellar when it fall considerably as corrections.
Happy buying cheap Stellar.

Of course nobody can say that the price will fall below or will not fall, nobody knows the future. But just the price after all already seems to me found the bottom and already began growth. So in the nearest future probably it seems to me that we will not see low price any more.

I was thinking that Stellar is just an ordinary platform. But now I see Stellar is one of the best players to get 10% in the last 24 hours. With this, it means its market capitalization grew to $ 6.4 billion, strengthening its position at number 8. Let's keep on fighting.

yeah, and being the fastest  it  has saved me a few times when I have needed to move funds fast and cheap between Bitstamp and Bittrex. Still cool to see  XLM < $1, that is regarded by me  is an incredible buying opportunity.

If you have the private key, then you can try to use that and see if it allows you to login.

And I bought this coin last year https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/stellar/.
And since then I only regret that I bought very little)))

The prices of last year probably can already be forgotten for a long time and happily.  Cheesy  As the market changes is direct in the eyes it is possible to tell. And if the project valid, and this project it also is that there will be only growth in the near future. I think many remember last year with small disappointment, you are not one.
