Question: if I mine the crap out of MYR with SHA256 ASIC, do the other difficulties go DOWN?

I notice that the algos are roughly equally distributed on the blockchain, and I doubt that people are mining with that even of a distribution...

Could this make the coin vulnerable to some weird exploit similar to the rumored attack on Kimoto's Gravity Well?

nope, if you watch it hourly like I do (yah I know ... I need a life) you would see discrepancies of even more than 100% between algos profitability

Anyone please post how many coins are generated per day with Scrypt mining and what hardware do you use.

Groestl is not a problem, it's a great algo. The only thing really needed is somes stable pool and the source code released to the community

Thats why we are holding ahmed as hostage right now. He will deliver! for sure. Fe feed him with gummybears all day.

We should take the overall situation not only consider the personal interests, groestl for those with 5XXX and 6XXXX graphics really very worthwhile, and energy saving, it costs so low that do things by irregular ways to achieve, is this good on the coin itself? The low cost makes it easier to dump it.The QUBIT algorithm is also energy saving, but also more stable, the card will also according to its cost to obtain the corresponding efficiency, if we want to make the coins go further, we should help him improve more perfect, not think only of our own interests.

Am in for groestl

+1 for groestl
-1 for scrypt

I speak: LT, RU, EN
Yea but if goestl is more energy efficient than scrypt that means is an inequity over there because if I mine scrypt I make the same amount of coins with much more energy so much expensive. Maybe this is the reason why the price is so low?

When using scrypt Asic energy consumption will be much lower than any non Asic system Smiley So this is not the reason of today's price. Just MYR is not known enough by people and there is not much places we can use it for today. Only some games and some exchanges. It will take some time for price to get it to real value...

Noob question time. How can a miner on a p2pool stop mining at 1pm, mine for half an hout at 2:30 then nothing, still be paid out for the next 7 blocks ( found basically 1 each hour afterwards)?

there were no blocks found in that half hour you mined but the pool paid you for your shares when blocks were found even though you stop mining.

qubit in

groestl out, riecoin / xpm in.

x11 (darkcoin) is gpu also.

Hope Groestl will not be removed as it's the best algo for older GPUs - it ensures mining support for the coin from older hardware owners.
Anyway, voting will decide Smiley

Please please please leave groestl in.  I've only just started mining with groestl and I loves it, my precious.  My rig runs quiet and cool compared to scrypt and to a lesser extent skein.  Also less power consumption 635watts on scrypt only 344watts on groestl.  Long live groestl, huzzahh!!!

yeah groestl has more +es to stay than qubit. don't worry there will be a poll.

From Reddit post http://www.reddit.com/r/myriadcoin/comments/209fwu/genuine_question_about_myriadcoins_multiple/

"I only invest in altcoins with innovative features that promote adoption. Myriad is certainty one of them, vert alienates asics and CPU miners but was innovate so took off. So what is going to happen with a coin that gives everyone an equal footing. This is what satoshi intended for bitcoin but could not predict the impact of asics and slowly this week the community is waking up to the fact."

I found this on reddit and i think it's a brilliant way to market the coin, we should all push and spread this as much as we can: the fact that the coin gives everyone an equal footing and satoshi intended THIS for bitcoin!

if this message break through the coin is gonna go straight in the top 10 for marketcap (as it should be)

...and please, USE twitter! The official twitter with just 1 tweet is just sad

good one.
it is without doubt that MYR will fly to the moon soon..
I was with vert 2-3 weeks before rocket launched and vibe was the same..
someone doubted but some supporters, me included, beleived and holded.. then we were paid by gold Wink
MYR just needs some more PR..
Like I said, I can run fund to pay off some PR..
You can send coins here MLfCVxikQtnKPumtownbfqhSD43274tXZ2

and lets see if we can raise somewhere around 400-500 USD to pay off PR news wire articles that would spread MYR public awareness

its set to 0.05 atm and p2pool gives a lot of work restarts thats just the nature of how it is

query 0
scan time 5
expiry 10

enjoy a better life.

edit also use those to decrease your dead hashrate and increase profitability.

I've set those 3 option as above but still getting around 7% dead hashrate, any suggestions?
