Yesterday I saw $456USD worth of volume on the MYR/EUR pair at LiteBit exchange. Pretty cool. Can anyone vouch for this?

2) It only works for the time being on pools that don't require membership, just using your address as your username on the pool. So, it will work with p2pools when they get up and running on yescrypt, and if you know of any other yescrypt pools that don't require registration it should work there too. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, and avoid asking users to have to register on a pool website.

www.zpool.ca doesn't require registration:

stratum+tcp://yescrypt.mine.zpool.ca:6233 -u

http://www.zpool.ca/site/gomining?algo=yescrypt

Cheers!

i tested the cpu yescrypt miner but it s bit slow on amd cpu

athlon2 x4 620 @3ghz  does only 0.27 x4    105W tdp
thenom2 521 3.5ghz                   0.41 x2      60w

athlon2 160   1.8ghz                   0.22 x1      20w

celeron2 g1840 2.8ghz                0.51 x2       53w

It is not feasible to mine this with the above configurations. This coin is very cheap in the market. So, don't try to mine it in here. However, you can join a pool here.

Well, That's Crypto :-\
...
Amazing contribution, nice work, trying it now.

update:
Running it now. getting 2260 h/s on 4 cores. 4770k cpu

questions:
1) How do I change default pool & wallets address to my own upon launch? So each time the app launches the fields are pre-populated with my information?
2) Do I need to be a member of a pool or just add my local wallet address?

thanks,
john

Thanks! To answer your questions:
1) You can't, but that's a good idea to create a conf file or something so that it launches on restart with the same settings it shut down with.
2) It only works for the time being on pools that don't require membership, just using your address as your username on the pool. Thanks for the feedback, I definitely think point (1) is something that I will add to a future release.

Yes a config file would be great.

Miner is working perfectly! Share are submitting and XMY hitting the wallet.

again, nice work on this.

Well, That's Crypto :-\
I put together a GUI that Windows users can use to mine Yescrypt algo with using the cpuminer-opt-3-3-8-windows that was compiled by the good folks at Crypto Mining Blog, without messing with the command line or bat files or anything like that.

You can find the source code https://github.com/jwinterm/myrminer and a compiled binary https://github.com/jwinterm/myrminer/releases/download/0.1/myrminer_v01.zip.

If you download the binary, all you should need to do is unzip it, go into the folder and run myrminer.exe, and enter your own Myriadcoin address in the address field. It is setup to use Miners Pool EU by default, and run a single thread, but you can change either of those options before clicking "Start mining".

Here is a screenshot of it in action :

If you try it out, let me know if it works for you, or anything you'd like to see changed.

... Do you have similar app for ubuntu? If you have one, let me know. Thanks.

I was actually working on updating this one from qubit to yescrypt:
https://github.com/jwinterm/kivy-cpuminer

which would have been more cross-platform compatible, and it was working OK, but kivy seems to have changed some stuff in compilation process, and after making exe it was like 120 MB. So, I figured most people who are gonna need/want a GUI for mining are Windows people, so I just made a new one in VB.net.

This is an excellent contribution. Myriad lives because of people like you. Good work. Do you have similar app for ubuntu? If you have one, let me know. Thanks.

The android app has a bug that is triggered at the first yescrypt block and it will not sync past block 1764002.

Working on a fix now...

MYR is forked now. Been trying this app for several times withoug knowing the due in bug fix. Alert us back when you're up with the new release. Thanks.

The Myriadcoin Wallet was updated on Google Play.  Allow time to be published and updated to your device.

Or you can download here:
https://github.com/HashEngineering/myriadcoin-wallet/releases/tag/v0.11.3.1b

This will sync with the recent fork.

Now, it looks to me like there is still 2.71GH/s of Qubit on ‘classic’. Assuming this is unintentional during switching phase, Myriad Qubit miners are invited to switch to mining DigiByte which actually looks to be more profitable for you at the moment anyway.
