This coin is dead
1 asic algo and 4 GPU algos, no CPU algo .. total of 2 billion coins ?! No wonder its so cheap, i;ve got some 900k coins and cant break even if i sell all at current price... FAIL ..

I have no idea how to make sph run on skein, I guess ill have to get linux

i would stay with scrypt, is better and more mature software.

However, the groestl gpu miner efficiency could probably be improved as my GPUs power consumption is only half of what it used to be with skein.

Groestl and Skein are very different. Skein is much easier to implement efficiently on GPU's/ASICs than Groestl. This should give GPU miners not as big a lead over the CPU miners mining Groestl.
Anyone with actual figures on their CPU/GPU for mining Groestl? Would be interesting to compare.

speed is 10MH/s on R9 290. Only source code is provided, let me know when someone compiles it for Windows, I will add link to binary in sph-sgminer thread. Note that you have to wait few minutes for a share to be found in the pool, that's the way it's configured. I earned about 1100 MYR already in the pool with my 40 MH/s during 2 hours, so I guess everything works good.

I'm testing my GPU miner, so there's 40 MH/s of groestl from me. Solo-mined 5 blocks this night.
But by looking at the diff, someone else also must have pointed a lot of computing power to groestl.I see there's a bounty system in this coin. Make a bounty for groestl GPU miner and I will share it.
