Also may I add... XENBET coming soon!

That's right, thought your XNC had no use? Not anymore! Xenbet soon to be launched! A nice, simple easy better site for English Premiership and Championship football matches, offering great odds, you can also choose whether you want winnings back as XNC or LTC!

We're pretty excited! Cheesy

RIP Xencoin.

Looks like it died a death last night 22nd April 2014 @ 1am.

Although we are still mining for lols - it seems every other pool and block chain explorer stopped then.

They might just be updating the block chain servers to deal with open ssl issue?

Hodl. LOL  Wink

The altexplorer.info (I think it was) seemed to be dropping XNC for a while -- it was only accessible if you had the direct link -- it disappeared from their main menu months ago.  I'm not sure what happened to the other explorer.  I know I took all my nodes offline after the post from the dev a few days ago.  I'm not wasting network bandwidth or resources on this coin anymore -- it was a premined pump and dump - that I took the initiative to try to help the other miners and users -- only to get told to go fuck myself, basically - so -- sorry on that one - but it's not worth it anymore.  I'm working on some things - and have a good team of supporters so far - and we'll be doing something that's "Not Revolutionary" but more along the lines of "It Works - out of the box" - and takes some of the strong points of several projects that we feel are 'mainstays' of a usable system - and we're working to perfect those and release that instead of trying to take on the world with new tech.  We (my team) feel that what we will do will take the current technologies that have been proven the successful implementations, and tighten them up even more and run on that platform instead.  More will come in the future - but I'll stop spamming things on this coin's thread --

XNC Miners/Wallet users/Pool Ops:

The client is not secure -- it is built with OpenSSL vulnerable to Heartbleed.  Since the dev has not posted a secured fixed update, I advise you guys to shut your wallets down if they were linked with the bad OpenSSL binaries or risk information disclosure.

Are there any XenCoin accepting sites at this moment? Is there an overview somewhere?
Except for the exchanges, obviously :-)

@thecarnie: Keep up the good work. Nice to see there is active development on this coin!

The only summary information available at this moment is on the first page of this topic.  The coin was pump and dumped by the original dev, and it has a huge premine sitting around that we haven't been able to trace just yet.

I'm fighting the QT libraries at the moment to get a new set of clients built and released for now - while I finish bringing the rest of the updates and fixes into the client from the other coins -- Once we get the client re-released with new SSL and checkpoints, we're going to try to offer some bounties to get some more places to accept it for use.  I'm also working out a couple other ideas in the back of my head for usage as well -- if you have any ideas, feel free to add to this topic until we get the new one and forums online on it's own site Smiley

MAKE YOUR SHITS WITH ANOTHER COIN!!!

Well you just freed up a bunch of my time.  Fuck you too.  You can say what ever you want.  Your actions and your treatment of this coin, and it's supporters with that post I guarantee just got you a coin worth jack shit.  I hope it drops to 0 now and gets dumped from the exchanges.

Peace out guys...  I'm done here.  I've vested too much time for a response like that.
