I didn't even know about the signatures, until I discovered this project. I guess in crypto world, you learn something new every day.

Thanks, we tried to find safer way to register for airdrop, no whitelist or something. With signing public address we collect 0 private information.

I have a question about signing with Trezor: as you may know Trezor refreshes your addresses each time so I am not sure how I have multiple BTC addreses with 0 BTC but somehow the Trezor knows that my seed has X amount of BTC even when my used BTC addreses are empty.

When I sign with a fresh address does BTR knows how many BTC I have?

Best,
Sanchi

No. You have to use the web wallet to figure out all your addresses with coins. Also, for txs where you sent money click on it to go to the explorer and you can see your change address. Check all the change addresses to see which ones have coins in them. You must sign each address separately that has coins in it. Signing one address will not link any other address you may have. You can check address balances at blockchain.info. That is what I did until I found all the addresses (regular and change) that added up to my balance. And if you send any coins or get more sent to you before the airdrop you need to register the new addresses (regular and change) also. Almost every time you send most of your coins go into a change address as all outputs must be fully spent when they are used in a tx.

Thanks! I'll check then one by one...

Good Luck with the project. Looking forward for second airdrop. People should also wait for a little bit make sure it's clear on the wallet before import your private key.

I dont get the math..the airdrop ratio is 1 BTC = 10 BTR... but max supply of BTR only 2.1M = 1/10 of BTC's max supply..
there wont be enough BTR for that..

The ratio 1 BTC = 10 BTR is just for airdrop, with a limit of 840K BTR. Please keep in mind, that as explained in the “Key Information” section on our page, the total amount of BTR to be airdroped is 840,000. So it is not recommended that you wait until the last minute...

What happens if there are some BTR remaining unclaimed? What do those coins get used for?
Our initial plan was to move remaining to mining distribution. But we are open to discussion.

I just registered, but didn't save my signature. The message displayed is now different so I can't sign it again and see the signature. Will I be able to claim BTR?

Is this on any exchanges yet?
Not yet, we are actively working with several exchanges for listing. As stated in the roadmap, we will announce supporting exchanges after airdrop and wallet creation are complete.

This is all just an endless flood of Bitcoin forks. i saw on your website that the algo is equihash. Is this a fork or a clone?
We are not regular fork, no 1:1, but limited supply 2.1 million...distributed 40% by airdrop... BRhodium is rare:)

BTW we were mention on the WCN show today!

One question: I already registered balanced BTC addresses for the first airdrop, do I have to register those addresses once again for the 2nd airdrop?

no, as long as that wallet has some balance at the time of the snapshot (January 10)

if one has less than a balance of 1BTC in an address, does that means the person won't be eligible to partake in the airdrop?

you'll still be eligible.
it's 1:10 ratio with no minimum amount, so it doesn't matter how much BTC you have in your wallet as long as it's not empty.

a new bitcoin comes out every day

and it's okay.
there's nothing wrong with it.

and for BTR team, i wanna know how much is the price for BTC coin & lighter that i see on your website.
i see rhodium bar as well, 1 ounce, and according to today's market price it's around US$ 1700 :O

Everything, even lighter is made from Rhodium, we will sell it from Q3 2018, now we have to focus on BTR itself...

After the fork and airdrop, what next?

Wallet creation, mining, exchanges...
