Yes it sure is impressive
No shared masternodes wont be a thing...for now at least.
I think it was a security thing. The team values its community members safety very highly.
You could try join the discord and ask the devs in charge of the cloud for a clear answer.
Qtum will be the next coin added for staking on the cloud and then last of the four will be decred.
How long that gonna take, i have no clue.
I know getting other coins masternodes setup to run with MNaaS has a high priority right now and alot of
work is therefor put into this area. So this could delay the staking area a bit i think.

oh and start looking up the devs on github, private commits on xsn are now visible, and https://github.com/durkmurder has a whopping two commits in december for xsn private git, shahab https://github.com/ShahabBhz who is prob no real dev has zero in december, leenux https://github.com/leenux another whopping zero, bwang https://github.com/bwang22 has 20, alex https://github.com/AlexITC doesnt do anything but the explorer. impressive. gonna go to the moon soon with all that dev effort

If you would like to participate in the masternode system for Stakenet, but do not possess enough funds to purchase a masternode outright, or lack the technical knowledge to do so, that is where we come in!
Simply go to our platform, sign up, send over some BTC, and purchase ‘portions’ in a node. Users receive staked coins in their user dashboard section as soon as they are mined. They can withdraw to their personal wallets immediately or request a conversion to BTC. Unlike our competitors, there is no waiting period to start staking. for everything else nowadays at least 2 quarters after their non binding fomo roadmap projects

seems like xsn is about to do another p&d with the help of twitter 
will be interesting if xsn will still exist after the christmas dump, when they will finally admit, that their "development" lead to nothing, and if it will be necessary to swap to get some new additions, which are simlpy copied off other gits.
