PoW reward will be reduced by 0.2 from the block 2628001 (according to the coin specifications), which is supposed to happen in one week.
Update October, 23: PoW reward was reduced by 0.2. The reward for mining a block is now 1.7 XVP.

For those who doubt the need for an XVP Faucet, I think that legit faucets play an important role in the cryptocurrency world. They are a gateway for many newcomers.
