cpu mining for 7 hours now, getting nothing at all, not even an orphan, yet it's still actually mining....bah Smiley

This is why we need a P2Pool for this coin.

I will offer a 1 BTC bounty to the first person that sets one up for this coin and pay another 1 BTC if the pool is still running 48 hours later.

Tried to compile cpuminer for windows from alex_fun source, but failed at make step.

Does anyone have any ideas?

make -f makefile.BLAH clean Huh

Didn't help... tried even to delete everyone from make folder and compile from scratch - nothing helped. Also cleaned Temp directory, there's also number of files that cannot be deleted. Will reboot now, cannot understand what's the hell going on that compilation  Huh

Also looked into scrypt-jane.c files, I thought that there is some ASM part of code which can give this error, but no - plain C text. Seems like compiler/flags problem.
Does anyone have the same problem at make step?

A CPU P2Pool is a good idea. There is noway most users are going to have the cpu power or willingness to burn away their cpu for 5 hour ATM probably 10 hours by tonight to get the "chance" of a block.

P2Pool accepts any type of device. There's no such thing as "CPU P2Pool".

oh , so the boring GPU will join it....
but it's not a good news for CPU not good users
just like me....
a cpu P6100

Normally I would be extremely angry, and go on a rant asking whether or not you understand how p2pool works

But let me explain it

P2Pool is an interface for mining
If you can't use your mining software to solo mine
You can't use it on P2Pool
What he MEANT, and should have explained better, is that P2Pool doesn't allow restricting devices, so when GPU mining software DOES become available, they can join, but not before someone actually develops a GPU Miner

EDIT:
Found another 33 YAC block! Grin

Looks like my Q6600 is good for CPU mining after all   Tongue

33 yac block
so many block

share some with me!

No.

If there's a mining pool, it doesn't mean that you can suddenly use GPUs.

no! i hate GPUs!
it's not equal
i mean we can share a block.
not to wait so long time but nothing

Do we not want to help the new users who might not have 16 x I7's to be able to have a go at getting some coins?

This should not just be something only for other users with rigs the size of their egos to be able to have fun with.

A P2Pool is great for decentralisation and means that we can work together as a team, like a community like we are supposed to be?Huh

And this is nothing to do with me not being able to mine them, if I wanted to I could go into my next room and turn all my rigs on but I want the new guys to get interested in this stuff and get enjoyment out of it.

Keeping things this way is border line elitism and I am against that.......and so was Robin Hood  Cheesy

You people DO realize that you'll probably have less coins mining in a pool than solo, right?

We need P2Pool on this big time.

yes ,now it's little diffcult.
a pool can make us share one block.
