I wouldn't be holding your coin since 2016, if i didn't see value in it, but 20% is too much. If am wrong about your financial gains from boolberry, then i apologize but i still think that 20% is excess.

I would agree with you 5 years ago (when I was just 1 year expirience in blockchain development).
Now, after I've seen all this interesting and finally dead projects, after I personally spend years for building technology I strongly disagree.

Anyway, I respect your position, just wanted to ask, can you please give an example of the successful alive project which did develop their code themselves and doesn't have premine.
Wondering, how they got listed during past 2 years on any of the top 30 exchanges where listing fees are 100k$+
I don't mean old times when Boolberry got listed on Poloneix for free without even my request, I talk about present time.

(Please don't put as example Bitcoin)

Monero obviously. Yes they started with cryptonote but they have diverged significantly, adding lmdb, ringct, bulletproof, etc.

A more recent example with truly ground up development would be Grin.

Also Bitcoin Tongue

Anyway, I think Grin is the example that meets your criteria the best.

Monero is the wrong example because:
 * we don't know if they would launch it with Premine of not, because the didn't launch it. It was not their decision.
 * they benefited from other's people work. Let's say they were given new technology(or taken) and then got a lot of attention and support because the tech was good. Now imagine that Monero team were doing research and implementation years before the launch - and answer to yourself - if they would launch it with no reward?

Grin is a good example, agree. We following this project and wish success to it. I'm not sure about how development organized there, but we have full-time employees and have to be sure then we can pay salaries every month, just hard to do it on donations. Know it from my own experience.

Grin 😕

Interesting huh!!!!

Some of team Zano will be in Mexico on the first week of May - Playa del Carmen to be exact - so if you'd like to meet the guys behind your favorite privacy project or just wanna buy crypto_zoidberg a taco and a tequila, get in touch to arrange a meeting.

Please everyone take a second to vote one last time for a winner in the logo design contest:
https://99designs.co.uk/contests/poll/14f9683298

This is a final poll with some entries added/removed based on community feedback. Votes don't carry over so please vote again if you voted the last time around.

@tbearhere I can't request any alterations to the designs at this stage I'm afraid, but if one of that designer's logos win then I can probably request some alterations before they submit the final brand guide.

Two days left to pick a winner folks. If you haven't voted already, please do.

Down to the six finalists for the logo design contest, I think we've got some really cool options:
https://99designs.co.uk/logo-brand-guide/contests/bold-professional-logo-brand-guide-next-generation-digital-1072867/entries?groupby=designer

Here's a taster:

For the next 3 days or so I can request revisions so if there's any variations on those designs you'd like to see, just let me know here and I'll pass it along.

I've put up a competition on 99designs for potential new logo designs for Zano (I'm not a big fan of the current branding).
http://twitter.com/Cryptoschild/status/1372176159304212481

Check it out! https://99d.me/e/mztv

The qualifying round lasts for 4 days, feel free to drop your feedback on the entries as they start to come in.
And please spread the word if you have any designer friends who might be interested.

How do we vote on them?

No voting at this stage but feel free to drop a screenshot with your favorites and any feedback. 55 entries already!

Then why the star rating?  Smiley

The contest owner can give each design a rating. After the qualifying phase there's the option to open a public poll for 8 designs.

First we need to choose 8 designs from the 200+ entries.  Shocked

Hi guys. Trying to mine with an 290x amd card with 4gb of vram, giving an error with progminer;

"unrecognized platform intel(r) OpenCL
error no usable mining device found"

Can a 290x mine this coin? Am I missing some crucial files or is the gpu unsupported?

I think the card itself should be fine for mining. At least the VRAM is not an issue, I mine Zano with cards as low as 2 GB. But something is wrong if the miner is picking up an Intel device. If you have both Intel and AMD OpenCL drivers installed, you might need the --cl-devices option with the correct device number. Try --list-devices to find those numbers.

I tried --list-devices, made no difference, just gives me the same error message as before. This is very strange, never had any problem mining lots of different coins before with that card on my system.

I found this issue on github from searching the error message it gave you: https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/issues/2001

Might be worth trying the fix from jgonzis's comment.
