https://github.com/ZencashOfficial/arizen/releases/tag/v1.1.0

Today there will be version for Linux and Windows too. If you have installed previous version, it should download and update automatically.

thanks but I thought we need a transparent address in ztxxxxxxxxxxxx for the secure node reserve, will it work with a zn adress?
T transactions are the traditional blockchain-recorded transactions controlled by a private
key in a wallet. These are derived from Bitcoin, and enable rapid compatibility with
exchanges, wallets, and other Bitcoin-derived ecosystem applications.

Z transactions
These are transactions sent to shielded addresses, as inherited from Zcash and Zclassic.
Balances in shielded addresses are private. If spending to one or more shielded addresses,
the value stays private but any transparent addresses on the receiving end will deshield the
token and reveal the value received on the blockchain. The input shielded addresses and
whether the value was sent from one or two of these remains confidential when deshielded.

Quote
Must maintain a balance of at least 42 ZEN in a 'stake' transparent address
Must maintain a minimum balance of .001 ZEN in a private address on the node for challenges

Hi, is there a way to generate transparent address with Arizen or do we have to use swing for that?

thx
Due to fact that Arizen wallet is encrypted maybe is best solution for storing Zen reserved for Secure Nodes.

Open your wallet

Click on button new address

You can insert name, optional, and click on generate

New address will show up as you can see from the picture

Hey everyone, sorry for the short notice, but we need to reschedule the biweekly to 12/13. The team is in Bogota, Colombia at the Latin American Bitcoin Conference and needs to continue to network and spread the word about Zen while we're here. Thanks for your understanding!

I had no problem until the certificate part. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Did you try to ping your domain?

Yes it pings fine, I think this is the problem:

https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/9718/2232/nameservers-and-tlds-supportedunsupported-by-dnssec

I think the .me domain isn't supported by dnssec.

It's working for me. See for example z1.digitalmine.me
You have to set Nameservers to Namecheap BasicDNS...

...and then just add an A Record.

It's set to basic, even bought a .com domain. Still not working. I had have a "who is" verification they said would take 48 hours to update.  Could that be the problem?

It's a pity Eleos wallet isn't supported anymore. It had terrible interface (I was hoping for it to be improved in further versions) but it's ability to manage 3 coins was very, very useful.

There are plans to keep improving wallet useability and look and feel. I was fine with Eleos wallet as well - I think the ability to manage multiple coins in the one wallet is always attractive. Take Exodus for example I think that is a great wallet but still only has some of the top coins available through it.

Part of the challenge is zencash has both a normal and 'secure' address - so that would likely make the requirements for zencash fairly specific in terms of the wallets that can be used, and the need to have a zencash specific wallet.

Is there a secure node available for anyone who wants to set up one providing we have 43 ZenCash coins?

Or, is there a big waiting period and the line of people wanting to get a secure node is long?

Thank you,

G.P.

 Cool

Demand is high so i doubt that there is an node for sale

NODE FOR SALE?  I thought the qualification was to have 43 ZenCash coins, and that was all we needed in order to get a node?  If I have to buy a node, how much are they going for and is it a set price for each one?  Or, do they go to the highest bidder?

if you cant build your own, buy one already made. I ask 46 for a secure node  Grin , and yes , some people are that desperate.
