Well this extending of brand and changing of logo was strategic move to avoid future potential problems.
Also we are distancing our project form ZCash, we are not only cryptocurrencie, we are platform now
New logo represents our values, qualities, and technology, it is attractive and versatile. ZenCash expanded their brand to reflect it’s direction with technology advancements and social innovations!

You see alot of coins doing bounties when just starting up, but I think there is value in doing it with more established projects - particularly when there is a rebrand!

Horizen is doing well without any sig campaign. In 1 year I don't even remember to see Horizen running a sig campaign. Their current marketing seems to not need of any.
BTW: Horizen is going up on Coinmarketcap to #70. If it continues, statistically it could be in the top 20 in 2 months only

Sounds good! Since I have a GPU mining rig, I'm hopeful the research priorities aren't in that order
Honestly though I think the new branding looks great, although I was also happy with the previously blue zencash branding.
