ZenCash has two different classes of nodes Super Nodes and Secure Nodes.

Secure node and Super nodes are very demanding in terms of procesor power and memory.
Masternodes are not and can be run on raspberry pi.

For Dash master node you need small fortune which is not the case with Zen Secure nodes nor if the price goes significantly up, they will stay available to ordinary people, and miners.

All in all you can not get bigger picture if you are focusing only on one segment of this project. ZenCash is platform now and side chains will shape up this project as one big useful provider for many usefull services protected behind powerful zksnarks technology.

Such numbers are indeed scaring. 2200 units of Z9 mini units mining is almost beyond imagination in this stage, and on the long run it will likely affect the community quite a lot. I think the team has to monitor the situation closely.

This is what we know, but what about those experimental machines we are not aware that maybe can be customized for every single algo in existence with very small efforts and surprisingly fast..What if this is future, what then? Fork to different algo can be useless in this situation, so better to look for an sustainable solution instead.
This can become our reallity very soon.
This is my personal opinion.

True. In fact I wasn't suggesting any specific line of action, just the need to be extremely focused on monitoring how the situation unfolds, since it can become critical any moment in any direction - that's a very dynamic and chaotic echosystem.

For now Secure Nodes and Super Nodes do not have protecting propose against 51% attack, but with this new redistribution of block rewards 10% Secure Nodes,10% Super Nodes, 10% Treasury, only 70% goes to miners and this significantly reduse chance for this attack.

I managed to change the staking address by doing step 7 & 8 of the installation guide Part 8.

I bought new Ledger device, and wanted to change my staking address from old one, to new one. I've already changed it so I will tell you how it worked out after the next reward payments.
