I think ZEN is great, the main dev showed his skill for Zclassic. I was actively on Slack, and there is a community (a good one). I believe ZEN will be sucessful, I'm holding Zclassic to get them, the price is going up...

I think the price will continue to go up for 2 months...

the 8.4% are dev / bounty fees , they dont go to "sponsors" like zec.
That's like putting the money in the left pocket instead of the right pocket.

It sounds like it's the first time you see a crypto project  Roll Eyes

you forgot the part that

3,43% of the funds will be allocated to full nodes.

So it´s 5%
That actually sounds like the the Billions of coins Neucoin devs put into staking for themselves (that coin is officially dead and they abandoned the project, about a year after creation).

As a BIGGER ZCL hodler, I'm very excited to buy one coin and get TWO!   Cheesy

Lets pray this move won't turn zcl to trash.

At first, someone didn't like the Zcash 10% tax so they created Zclassic, now ZEN is forking with their own 8.4% tax... bravo.

The Zcash tax is 20%.
10%

Are you just arrogantly stupid, or what? Each Zcash block is worth 12.5 ZEC. The miner gets 10 ZEC, the Founders get 2.5 ZEC. Perhaps that math is too difficult? Or you haven't learned how to use your desktop calculator? Oh, wait, I understand now: You voted for Trump, 10% is an alternative fact.
I guess you're too retarded to see my point, let me highlight it for you, since you obviously came here for ZEN.

Why "purposeful divergence into two blockchains"? As I know, most coins divergence into two blockchains only because of some troubles...

You can't change the basic parameters of a blockchain without a hardfork. And no, hardforks are not always to correct "troubles", they are the fundamental mechanism for upgrading a blockchain network. A blockchain cannot evolve over time without hardforks. Your misunderstanding is prevalent, and because of that misunderstanding, coins have been trashed without reason, other than the coin market participants not crooking what a hardfork really is.

Thanks for your explanation... But after hardfork, dev decided to maintain both networks, what is the purpose then?

I am an early Zclassic investor, what does this mean to me?

Anyone who holds Zclassic prior to block 100,000 (somewhere around April 29, 2017) will be allocated a 1:1 amount of Zen automatically. Simply import your private keys into the new Zen wallet to redeem your tokens. We are also working with the various exchanges to ensure everyone will be credited appropriately on their platforms.

Can I invest in Zen prior to launch?

Yes. Anyone who holds Zclassic prior to block 100,000 (somewhere around April 29, 2017) will be given a 1:1 credit of Zen. This is a result of the Zen genesis originating from the Zclassic blockchain.

yes it's 20% but only for 4 years something like that, that's why some people are saying it's 10% of the total supply no?

But what matter right now is Zencash, personally I like the branding and I can't wait to see how the DAO type will works it's interesting.
