my McAfee detect a risky connection when I start sync wallet about 10m ago. I read about this in previous page and guess that it should be no problem. just one of the nodes. my wallet still sync nicely.

but is there a way to drop that wrong node?

And if you visit the website http://www.zeta-coin.org/ and Twitter https://twitter.com/zetacoins you can see it's much more active than others, it has much more following and places where to spend it, as well as exchanges (like others, but not many others). And it's one of the few really paying attention to presence (real presence!) on social media. I never even thought about opening IRC, someone wanting to pay or use Zetacoins (so not really 'into' computers) will probably check how active is on Twitter..they probably don't even know about what is IRC 

Also we thought, looking at the market cap, that the value is going to raise a lot if compared to others, I think this is why lots of people are not hoping but just waiting maybe.

It's just a matter of maths indeed...interest in all alt coins is raising, the market is going to raise no matter what, and the lower you start the more is going to give back as value. It's nicely and smoothly bubbling at the moment, very healthy sign usually (on normal coins markets). And it's not a Scrypt one, another plus point looking at the other coins.

They are all going to grow, as I said I was very lucky also with Goldcoin for example, but lots of people are buying Zeta because it's very low at the moment and they know..look at the giant selling orders at 3 or 4 times the value ready to go   

It also seems it should expand on Chinese market very soon..and well the logo IT IS important for potential websites to use it as way of payment

Oh well...we all have our own preferences and analysis tools and techniques or experts to get help...we personally would not miss this one.

Can someone explain to me what makes Zetacoin so great?  There is no one in the IRC, no news, nothing except people hoping the coin rises? 

Anything I'm missing?  Is there a marketing team?  Is there a plan?  Any development in progress?

Kinda looks like a shitcoin with a cool name, but how is it planning to compete with Worldcoin/Peercoin etc?

Just want to say I think zetacoin has a cool name and logo, and more importantly, I think the small, constant minimum inflation is a great feature to have in case bitcoin goes too wildly deflationary. (Not saying it will, but no one really knows yet.) The rate is so small anyway that its effect is going to be 99.9% psychological, making holding to infinity not seem like such a great strategy. Not saying that bitcoin will fail, but it's good to have coins with slightly different economic models as backups.

Although we call them alt currencies I actually see them as an extension of BITCOIN....If you think about the amount of fiat currency it doesn't really leave the system apart from through BTC. People don't sell Zetacoin for cash. They sell it for BTC.  I think if BTC falls in value the ALT currencies will remain fairly static unless of course someone is using huge amounts of BTC to buy an ALT then BTC will fall whilst that particular ALT will rise. Generally though the ALT currency values should not change according to the price of BTC.  Unless a fall in BTC causes holders to sell their BTC for ALTS then this would push up the price of the ALT currencies. hmmm The more I think about your statement the more difficult I am finding it to come up with an opinion
