Why don't you do half half and make sure to.. cash out when the profit reaches 100$ or something ?
Any long term investment won't do any good

Because right now everyone is unsure about the dip thing it might happen and it might not..

Thus the safest option is to go ahead and invest in both is what I think because ETC isn't foolproof plan too..it's ass good as bitcoins.

Just invest that money now.. do not wait for a new dip, it is probably not going to happen, the next year starts in less than five days from now. And we already had two dips during this week.
So no, do not wait anymore, just buy.

No one can predict that. BTC had already dipped to 12K before the Christmas and now back to 16K again and is still going up. For me I still expect another dip before new year or after the new year but I think it would not reach the 12k mark again, maybe around 14-15K if a dip will happen.

ETH is a much safer option because the miners earn "Gas" by hosting services they call contracts
instead of just revving the car engine without putting the car in gear and calling it PoW

I know this would mean missing out on the Segwit fork but i guess you are a bit late to get
the bonus payment but we are really talking about silly money now in transactions costs
and you should fear being "Locked-in" by the greedy miners

The ICO i wanted to get involved with got sold out in a mere 22 seconds so little
boys like me and you are only being left with the bones the bankers throw us from
time to time anyway

Hey!

Will there be another dip before new year or around the first week of Jan? Last year there was a correction but i am still not sure. I have around $ 8K i want to invest in Btc & ethereum. Any leads would be nice.
