I'm sad to hear that. One thing you should avoid, do not buy tokens in large quantities when the tokens are still in the Launchpad (ICO) stage. Because some Investors believe that Launchpad will give them a return on their investment.

Second, if you have sold tokens and then get a profit, I don't think you should buy again when the price is still high. So, just stop there.

Once a man, twice a child!
this is the reason if you have liquidated your investments you should instead invest in other coin instead, even if the coin that you just liquidated seems interesting and could grow even further but if you instead reinvests again it will immediately losing its value, if you invested in some very fluctuative coins before, it's wiser if you then move on and instead reinvests in better coin like eth.
This is easier said than done. Only those who don't trade will think it's an aberration to sell for profit and then want to buy back at a dip. Of course, that's what it always seem like until you discover that the coin you just sold isn't slowing down and then the anxious ones will start chasing price. They end up buying at a higher price and are exposed to more risk than they would've been the first time. You're right. However, what isn't that easy is the advice to buy into another coin. No one truly can tell what project will be an explosive winner so they can quickly invest in it. This is why this industry is highly speculative. We can only take a guess by navigating the murky waters with the aids of indicators and fundamentals.

A few days back I bought a token from Launchpad. After they Launch on Pancakeswap I made 1.5X and sold. I was happy with that. But unfortunately, the token price grow double every day, then I bought again at the higher price. I thought this was a chance to multiply my portfolio again. Even though it grow 5x but O didn't sell that due to greedy behavior. Eventually, the project rug was pulled and skipped with all the funds. That means I lost everything even including my initial investment. This is how greed destroys us and scammer takes the advantage.
Sad heard about your losing but become experience at the future how to manage and stop greedy when investing in cryptocurrency actually with altcoin listed and available exchange with dapp only. I think early listing some coin from launchpad have good impact with price increase, but remember few days later price will going dump if your project joining without have good roadmap seems listing on CEX market. You have get profit with 1.5x from launchpad price but better spent each 50% to sell with different price, if later going pump you still have chance earn much profit more than 1.5x, but if price down you still get back with your capitall.

Oh, that saddens me to hear. People don't have to go through it to understand the potential dangers of the crypto realm, but it is expensive nonetheless. You've given me hope that I won't have to say this to you a second time: maybe we can all learn something from the mistakes of others. I agree that, in addition to our knowledge, our emotions are critically important, and that greed is among the most significant things that could lead us astray. When making financial decisions, we should put our emotions in check and rely more on reason. Keep this in mind at all times: despite the difficulty, it is not impossible.
Learning from the mistakes of others is something we must do so that we can get something that can help us in developing what we already have. As long as we don't chase profit, we can overcome the greed that will come upon us because we will think that if we already have profit, we can immediately take it. We can also control our emotions and see if we can still wait a bit or if we should shut down and take advantage of it. But that happens to many people, including me because it is not easy to control emotions, especially when you see a green candle appear in front of you.

Such situations are very common when investing in sheet projects. I invested in a project called Citizen Finance that dealt with Metaverse Gaming. There my investment was $1200 and after holding it approximately six moths i sold it for $1500. At that time the price per token was $52 and I sold it for $85. But within a week of the sale, the price of the token rose to $340. But my luck was good, I wanted to invest again but the price was too high, I waited for a while. Later they changed the smart contract and drastically down the token price to cents. Scammers are constantly creating traps so don't be much greedy.

Sorry for the lose mate. This is crypto and shits like this are bound to happen.

But to be safe side, always invest what you can afford to lose, cause it might happen.

The developer is a person financially interested. Most IDOs held on Pancakeswap are scam, in other words REKT. If there is an opportunity to make money on such tokens, then only at the beginning, when there is hype, then all these tokens after the launchpad start to fall in value very quickly. Such tokens are very expensive to hold and very often the deposit from holding such tokens for a long time can decrease dozens of times and leave the investor with a lot of garbage.
Most IDO reach until pancakeswap listing. Once after that the regular trading volume could help them listed on next tier of exchanges. Many stop there due to the lack of funding required to get listed. Very few move further from pancakeswap. This is how majority turn to be scam, even when the team and project objective is good.

They also have another version of distributing new tokens, called IFO. If you look at the trading volume of tokens launched on pancakeswap, you can see that most of them are not even 1 million. You can look here. If I see that a new ido is preparing to list on pancakeswap only for now, I will not participate there because the risk of REKT is very high.

Yeah but it must be noted if the whales who pump the tokens might be losing as well. It can't be denied if the pumpers might come from the team itself who are pumping the price to attract the more buyers. Sometimes this strategy being used by scammers to attract more victims to come and they will be filing the pool with more and more liquidity in the market.

If only if you immediately exit the market when you have benefited from the initial investment even if only with a small amount then you don't have to feel it, but because we are human beings, we certainly can't always avoid greed and maybe almost all members in this forum so I've felt the same way you are feeling right now and I personally also experienced it when dealing with shitcoins last year.
I also had the same experience when I became too greedy and bought a shitcoin at its highest peak. I didn't consider the fact that its increase was just carried by the hype. Sometimes aiming for too much will also be a reason for you to lose more but it should also serve as a lesson. We can't control ourselves to chase more profit despite the risk but we still have to set boundaries and limits.

When investing, we do not only manage finances properly, but we also have to control our emotions. Because some people do sometimes make
the wrong decisions when they can't control their emotions well. Actually as long as we can stick to our plan when investing, which we will sell
at the target we set, everything should be fine. Or it will be much safer if we take profit after we are already profitable and don't be obsessed
with big profits. But because humans are greedy, which always wants to make as much profit as possible. Finally, profits that should be easy to get,
can just disappear because of uncontrollable greed. That's why it's important that we focus on the plan and always control our emotions well.
And most importantly we must be able to learn to be grateful with a small profit.

I have my own solution with that even though I rarely invest into new projects.
Not seeing the price movement of that token at all whenever I got a profit already.

Trust me forgetting and not seeing that token's price is very hard because every time, you will be tempted to look at it and see if it goes down or up, but it will all comes to one word and that is DISCIPLINE. It's very hard to not see at the price of it but if you will think of a way to not look it then that's good.

Maybe do other things for a few hours like going outside or simply playing online games. That might help you, but still there are some investors who can't control themselves. I don't blame the thing that the OP did because many investors are doing the same as well, but maybe this serves as a lesson not only for the OP but for us as well who are investing into new tokens.

Yup.
At the end of the day, we'll all go back to private blockchains, as we'll own our privacy. Just like cash.
People getting tired of hacks and info leaks will just move into proof of work privacy coins with strong capabilities.

I'd look into https://twitter.com/beamprivacy if I were you. I'm currently mining at a loss, but idc tbfhwy.  Cool

Sorry about your loss, i can relate to your story. As cool as the idea of a digital currency might seem, it's a mine field. You can lose a lot within a twinkle of an eye. It has been used to defraud so many naïve people trying to invest in it. My opinion is that it's not wise to invest your money in Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency. If you put all your eggs in a basket, you might suffer a complete loss. But when you invest some funds in the stock market, other funds in bonds or ETFs, and some in real estate, you increase your chances of higher earnings and fewer losses. One thing I'll advice you not to do is invest in bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general. There are lots of fake investment companies out that look real but they are not, they'll sweet talk you into investing with the aim of getting huge returns in a short period of time. It's all a lie, they'll take your money and keep asking for more or do a rug pull leaving you penniless. I've been a victim of a cryptocurrency scam, well organized fraud. I'm glad i was able to recover my investment with the assistance of the vaultech team. I explained my issue to them through  vaultechservices @ protonmail . com and my issue was resolved. I wont advice anyone to put their hard earned money in crypto. Its a good thing to invest, its another thing to be wise about what to invest your money in. Cryptocurrency is surely not one of them.

it has actually happened frequently, so many traders out there getting greedy and missed the right chance of realizing their profits.
These kind of greedy traders think their asset gonna grow everyday for eternity but that's really isn't the case at all, correction is always there for any altcoins that has gained tremendous valuation so far.
even bitcoin always gonna have correction, therefore if you think you have made quite the return of investment it's always great to make decision of realizing your return of investment so far.

Greed will surely make us lose everything like what you experienced. Never chase profit even if it seems easy to do because we don't know what will happen in the next minute. If you have managed to get 5x profits, you better stop chasing it and enjoy your profits and look for other coins. This is a valuable lesson for all of us that if you get a big profit, immediately leave it all before you lose your profit.

This is a good example that no one can get rid of greed once and for all, there will come a time where greed will take over once again and you will make the same mistake, even a pro-investor or trader can still be a victim of his or her own greed.
