I'm not giving numbers but 5% on average is set aside for gambling and other leisure. It could be up to 10% if I make more than the usual.
Minimum bet on sports is around $10.

I'm currently just playing casually, my monthly income is only $100 and I bet around $10 in gambling.
Are you for real? This is not to offend you or anything but where do you live and how can you live with that?
I wouldn't even dare to gamble or have any kind of vices since I would barely live by with that amount.

Hello gamblers, this is a kind of survey aimed at getting to know my fellow gamblers better, particularly in the context of sports betting. I would like to know your average bet amount and your monthly income.

You don't need to provide exact figures; an estimate would suffice. Through this discussion, we can assess whether we are being too aggressive in our gambling habits or if we are playing it safe with our bets.

Thanks, this is a great question to find out if we are aggressive gamblers or not. For me, to be honest, my monthly salary income from my main job and part-time job is approximately $400, this is enough to cover my living needs for a month and regarding the budget allocated for gambling that I do, I usually only put $5 and a maximum of $10, I don't dare to exceed this amount, firstly because there is a sense of worry that comes to my mind regarding the adverse effects of gambling that I cannot always avoid. Secondly, I really appreciate the salary that I get from my hard work at work, so I always think of reducing unnecessary expenses, one of which is by minimizing gambling activities with small amounts. Oh yeah, plus I really don't know how to play with a big budget, because maybe I'm too used to only putting small amounts into the gambling I do, I really appreciate the money I earn from my hard work. The average annual income in sports betting gambling I don't know for sure because I didn't calculate it although I think the estimate will not be the same even more losing or winning.

But if the monthly income may be possible: I said $100+ is not a passive income sometimes always lose in betting for a month so this is not certain but always use a small capital in sports betting and rely on large odds for high wins that is expected even though it is difficult to win.

Even I won $500 for a month in sports betting but the following month lost $200 after calculating, so that's how I know it's uncertain so now use a small percentage for depositing into gambling.

First of all, I won't tell you any numbers  Grin
Secondly, it seems to me that there is no point in information like “my income is a million, but I bet 500k on average.” Not all people live on income, some live on (spend) savings. And income is also a flexible concept - it can be a banal salary or profit from real estate, shares, etc. which is more logical to calculate in an annual format. Plus, all these numbers will have completely different meanings from country to country. It may make sense to compare the percentage of spending on gambling from the monthly budget, but there are also many nuances that will devalue this information.

I have a monthly income of $150, and I only use $20 for gambling during one month. And I only use $0.1-$0.5 per bet. I do this to avoid temporary losses, if I use $20 at once in 1 bet the risk of losing funds will be greater in one day. If I lose funds then I will also lose the fun.

I'm not an aggressive gambler and most of the time I gamble is when I am bored or just to change my phase when I'm burned out of what I usually do. I would say it's just around 1%-5% or my monthly income. I don't keep track on how much I bet, but usually I just bet in small amounts. I think I am past the time where I spend more in gambling, I've learned my lessons the hard way where I used to be impulsive when gambling where sometimes I just do one all-in bet daily.

Just how I wish all these beautiful well stated and interesting comments as revealed by each gambler on this thread is in reality what and how a good number of gamblers or all of us actually do practice in our daily gambling gambling addiction will be a story of the past, and society's view towards gambling would have taken a favourable and positive dimension.

I don't have a specific/stable income amount I make for the month and since money from most of my sources of income is received weekly I endeavor to making sure I don't exceed using 5% to gamble, sometimes I don't get to use up all the amount in my bankroll as I could just decide to quit for the day if I observe I have lost straight two or thrice in a streak of bets.

I myself don't confirm my betting income every month, because I think there's no point in recording the income from my bets, because most likely I'll only lose. Also, the betting income you get isn't likely to happen often, so I don't really care about it. except for the amount of money spent on betting,  maybe I can say that because sometimes I think about losing my bets and that happens when I'm relaxing or chatting with my friends who discuss gambling.

but I gamble by risking 10% of my monthly salary, and how can I play that 10% for one month, namely in a responsible way, not gambling excessively, because I don't want my finances to be disturbed by excessive gambling too? If I gamble excessively,  it can cause problems for myself. and of course if a problem occurs then my finances which were used for basic needs could be disrupted because of gambling, I don't want that to happen, so I try to gamble with 10% of my monthly salary and make sure that 10% can last for one month.

It is a random amount for me and it changes from time to time depending on my moods swings. Sometimes it is a few percentage of my salary.

But typically it goes just like 2-10% of my salary and I do not know how much it should be to become an aggressive one.

I know myself if I am going too much and with what I know is that I am fine with any amount O gamble.

I don't calculate the average betting amount for gambling but I don't use big money for gambling. I won't tell you my monthly income because that is my secret. Maybe the amount of money I allocate is less than $100 for a month, which I can afford. And sometimes, I use less than $70 a month, depending on my needs to meet my daily needs. If I need more money to meet my daily needs, I will reduce the allocation of funds for gambling and will not try to increase the funds again in the following week. So far, it's still been safe for me to gamble well. But reducing my gambling activities also makes me reduce the amount of funds for gambling and that has given me good results where I have more money to save.

I can already foresee how «average amount won or lost per month» topics appear. We give such private data on public observation and then we are shocked why people know so much about us.

I general I would say that those who have posted here, dont spend a lot on gambling. This can be understood as gambling is affordable for any purse.

Nice question! Actually the max amount that I am going to bet each month is 3% of my monthly salary!
Per single bet... it's an hard question because I can bet also 10% of the yearly amount of my salary!
Of course these are not fixed amount but just a kind of budget that I don't want to surpass.

It's a bit hard to state my monthly income here, because I have two jobs and earn some money on the side from trading and investing. But only my first full time job is reliable and gives me roughly 200 USD free income for gambling each month. I split that money into poker money and normal casino games. I am trying to gamble 3 times per week, where one evening is for poker alone. But this is only an average, sometimes I can't find more than one free night per week and then during vacation I can play every day. Any additional money I get from my second job, or some dividend payments from my portfolio I usually split into crypto investing and a little bit for gambling too. So on average I have 75 USD per week to gamble with, which is not that much and I stick go betting the smallest sizes. I rather prefer to gamble longer, than blow go my budget too quickly.

Even though it is person for everyone and when you get the answers, betting range would be from cent to infinity, thus if wont show a real picture. I would avoid giving exact figure of how much I earn and bet. Because it is unethical to ask such a question when we all care for anonymity. But I would say that the average amount I bet on sport is the amount I spend on a lunch during working days. It is not much, it is still makes watching sport interesting, and if I lose, I still can replace that «food shortage windows» during dinner.

P.S. Would be nice if you would provide answer for your question first yourself.

For my monthly income, it ranges between $570 to $650, a normal above minimum salary range in our country  and the alloted amount for my gambling activity is around $50 but it depends to my budget since I'm doing gambling when I have my free time and If I have extra penny and As per my own observation, I can say that I am playing it safely because I can manage well my gambling allowance and I know when to stop especily if I feel that I'm going a little bit far in my betting limitation.

Same here. It's crucial to set limits and manage your budget wisely, especially with activities like gambling. Knowing when to stop is a responsible approach.

Too bad, but I cannot disclose my monthly income as it is a personal matter.

However, I can tell you that I usually limit my spending on gambling to $20-50 per week. I have struggled with controlling my gambling habits in the past and have bet much higher amounts, but I am actively taking steps to maintain control over my gambling activities.

I don't have an average rate I use on bet on weekly or monthly basis. I place bet base on my monthly income. I have a business of my own. So I normally use only 5% of my income on gambling. This is fixed to control my gambling habit. And my profit isn't fixed on monthly basis because I stake more on accumulated bet. Sometimes I may not make any profit in a month but at least I do win once in 2 months and this winning most times do cover my lose and left behind some good profit.

I know how everyone is, but I have my own budget to spend with gambling, usually there is no fixed amount I think it ranges from $5 - $1000. But I just have fun with gambling, so I don't care too much about the actual spending and recovery, because for me, the fun in gambling is what I think about.

Maybe it's a bit personal about the income issue, as I'm just a freelance worker, and don't receive a monthly salary.

In Craps, I merely bet the minimum to $5.00 per roll - the minimum bet depends on the site. Sometimes it's 0.50 cents, sometimes it's $1.00.

In slots, my favorite slot-machine is Dig Dig Digger, I do a mere $1.00 per pull.

Then in sports-betting which I have just recently started doing/learning because of a betting contest, I bet $5.00 or less.

None of these bets are more than 5% of my monthly salary. I bet for entertainment and fun, but I'm also trying to win some Bitcoins to use to bet again next time, which has not been that successful. Hahaha.

Lightning network is good with small amount of BTC
Average bet amount per single bet all total bet for the month? Like I don't understand but if it's per month I can't really tell as it varies because I don't play same amount on each bets I place or staked but to sum it up the total amount I spend on sports betting monthly is not greater than 30% of my monthly income as I earn around $100 to $120 monthly because my income doesn't come from a single source.
30% of my weekly or monthly income is too high for me. It will make me to be looking for ways to win unlike the smaller amount that I am using that I do not care about if I lost it. Irrespective of the amount of money that you earn weekly, be it high or small amount, I think gamblers should not make use of up to that amount in percentage. Have some in savings instead. But if not affecting you, never mind me.

I think my allocation is good for average players because I'm getting my allocation from my extra hours of work, my regular income goes to my family budget and paying bills and my extra income goes to my gambling activity.
Yes 10 to 15% of your monthly income is good if not more than that. As long as it is not causing you any financial problem. As for me I go for just 5%. I have a separate wallet for this and I do not touch any coin on other wallets for gambling.
