You are an addict and you should seek professional help immediately. The sooner you accept this fact the better it will be for you. Most ill people can’t recover from their addiction because they refuse to accept their situation. They think they are alright. If you follow this false logic you will also not get better. You should disclose your situation with your close relatives too. They will immediately understand your situation. As long you have an internet connection, no anti-gambling tool can stop you. You will always find a way to bypass it. You need external help.

So, here's the deal. I've been into crypto gambling, and I've realized that, despite my best intentions, it's a bit tough to control the urge. I've tried the self-exclusion route in the past, but it seems some crypto casinos still find a way to let me back in.

I know I've got an issue, and I've accepted that. Now, my goal is to manage it better and avoid any unnecessary damage to my finances.

I'm curious if any of you have faced a similar situation and if there are tools or methods you've found effective in controlling crypto gambling. It feels like most platforms lack daily limits or deposit controls, making it a bit challenging to stay on track.

Would really appreciate any advice or recommendations from those who've been through something similar.
There is no other way but to find the inner strength to stay away from gambling, because any tool that has been created for this purpose is not very useful since you can always find a way to gamble anyway, now I am not going to deny this has gotten harder as you can access an unlimited amount of casinos from the comfort of your own home, but that is precisely why those tools cannot and will not work, so I recommend that you look for professional help before your problem gets any worse.

It seems to me that you are asking these questions because you intend to play but as you cannot control yourself in terms of the money you put into the casino, so you want to know if there is any way that would allow you to continue playing and that would not allow you to spend money that you cannot give yourself With the luxury of losing, in my opinion the solution to cases like these is for the person to see a doctor in the real world and get treatment and never go back to gambling again and not talk about things related to gambling for many years. As long as you continue talking about gambling, as long as you interact on forums, social networks related to gambling, you will not be cured.

Sooner or later you will start playing again and use money that you shouldn't put in the casino, my advice is to forget about gambling, don't think about things that could make you start playing again. I know it will be difficult, but this is the only way to heal. When people are addicted to something, staying away from anything related to what caused them addiction is the most advisable thing. I hope you understand this.

would you mind elaborating on the "but it seems some crypto casinos still find a way to let me back in" part of your post? how are they exactly finding a way to let you back in?

anyway, what you need is professional help, asking others to recommend "anti-gambling tools" to you is a sign that you need professional help. it is for the best to solve the root cause of the problem instead of just temporarily holding it off with "anti-gambling tools".

There are tools like blocking softwares. What this software do is to block gambling websites so that you will be tempted if you see one. This could word in conjunction with the self-exclusion you have activated for your online gambling platforms.

Here are some of the blocking softwares that I mentioned,

Source

You might want to try it and see if it's effective in your end. And of course, you need to practice your brain, re-wire then to think of positive things besides gambling. And the last one is to seek professional help.
You should be careful about the softwares you mention here because the first two of your list, Gamban and Gamblock, are not free, they are paid applications and the third one Betfilter doesn't seen to be available anymore. The only freely available app of this list is the last one Betblocker, I have mentioned it in my previous post above. I don't know if OP is ready to pay or not for that service, but it's useful to know that some solutions are free unlike some others.

I would have not guessed anti-gambling software was supposed to be paid, to be honest. But it makes sense once one start to think about how many people could be going through such a desperate situation, spending thousands or hundreds of thousands in casinos, so spending some buck on a software like this would be positive if put on a balance.
It depends on OP's personal and individual situation, though if he is not a high-roller it would better just to go with paid software solutions if other measures do not seem to help him in the short or mid term.

It would be better if OP also tried to spend the money in other activies he may enjoy instead of gambling and paying for software.

Good point and advises on here in regarding those things arent working or down on which it is  really that giving out some idea on what these people been dealing with in terms of those links given. In overall then it isnt really that something that relevant on making use of these kind of services considering that you wont really be needing on paying up something if you are really just that dedicated on quitting gambling in the first place.
Any methods or ways wont really be that totally effective if you dont have set your mind on totally quitting gambling in the first place. There's no such thing about those anti-gambling tools or what.Yes, we do have that self exclusion feature or whatever kind of limits or restrictions.

Casinos wont really be that putting up that deposit limit or maxmum bets that you would make on your gambling account which its never been that possible on doing so considering that they are running a business
then it would really be just that a normal approach that they would really be that allowing on whatever income deposit that they would really be able to get and doesnt mind
about gamblers condition whether they had already been that addicted or not. The key on here is that you should really know on when to quit up right away
if you do see that you are already that getting addicted.

Dont give yourself too much spare cash if you have this general problem of burning it on leisure activities.   Gambling, any game can cost money its for fun not to be thought of as a genius idea.  By definition most of us cant be that perfect win scenario so start off by not kidding yourself, its fun and a game stick to those basic facts and work from there.
Some people burn all their money on alcohol, dont be too hard on yourself either its just a mistake you should avoid most of us have behavior we must correct for our own good.    I would put money into paying off your mortgage when you can because it does come back to you in lower bills and improves your security long term.   If you pay your debts first chance possible, its money that cannot be placed wrongly there after and you will do far better.

The casinos will not give that permanent self exclusion option because in as much as they want you to stay out of addiction and gamble healthy, they also want to have you back bon their platform so they too can make money from your losses when you loose so it's mostly a self decision and seeking tro help yourself that gets r he best for you, looking for tools to help you stop gambling and all that may not work perfectly.

I'd there's no firm decision to get your self out of it, even with the help of tools and whatever that Amy be provided you, that quest to continue will always cause you to find a way around the barriers and satisfy your quest and desire to continually play. Personally I don't know of any tools that can be really useful to help you stop or control your gambling, but I think bank apps could help you place restrictions on funding that way you can get to control how much you gamble because if you don't have funds in your wallet you definitely can't gamble.

The best tools under your disposal is to change your behavior and approach towards gambling. Every external tools are artificial and bypassable, if the gambler wishes to. So, start changing your mindset and replacing old habits with new ones. Identify what triggers undesirable behaviors regards gambling in yourself and act to avoid such triggers from happening. If you are able to do this, you will get rid of your addiction or impulsive gambling routine within time. But you have to be persistent and not give up on the middle of the way. It might take a long time and progress will appear slowly.

Have you tried to look for some apps and browser extensions in order to block or filter gambling sites?
For smartphone you can use this app for that purpose : https://betblocker.org
and for desktop there are several plugins you can install to your browser in order to do this task, you can find a list of them there : https://slidesjs.com/chrome-extensions-to-help-gambling-addicts/ Gambling Blocker, CasinoAnalyzer Blocker, Simple Blocker, BlockSite, Stop-it

You can destroy or sell all of your phone, PC or any device that can be used to connect internet, this will make you have no way to access online casino.
Lol, that's a nice advice but I don't think it is going to work for op. I'm not much of a gambler so I don't really know how it is to be addicted to gambling. For me I only play ones or twice a week and sometime not at all. For op, I think only him can dictate for him self how he could possibly stop or reduce his gambling habit. If you find something else to put your time then maybe you can shake it off a bit but not as @Solosanz  has suggested. No matter how you try to stay away from the internet you just won't be able to keep up. The internet comprise of our everyday activities not just something you can choose to stay away from. So I will advice you to find the best way that works for you.

As others have said, if you can't do it on your own then go to a professional maybe he will help you stay away from gambling.

There is no tool unless you realize yourself and do a stricter discipline again, if you are still unable to try asking those around you who have succeeded from this bad zone how the method is just try asking.
Maybe you are so addicted that you can't control the money that goes into gambling, one more thing you need to convince yourself not to do gambling and do more useful things to get rid of this thought.

Or make activities that you can forget about gambling.

I believe my suggestion will 100% work.
Man how could it not work if you tell the OP to destroy all his gadgets lol

I think the OP is looking for some online tools or any strategy to control his habit which he considered a bad habit. This is definitely an issue of his discipline, he lacks the discipline to manage himself, not only with gambling but with all the activity he is missing instead of sitting and gambling. I'd like to suggest of doing more stuff outside, get the fun to other things such as sports. I myself managed to get out of the mud coz I'm losing than winning. Outdoor activities may help you spend your time not to think of gambling, and after you go home you'll just be thinking to eat and sleep.

When we talk about anti gambling tools, I think it should depends on the kind of person it should needs to apply these measures to stop gambling.
That being said, if the person who wants to stop gambling does gamble online, I think the best thing to do is to take away anything that's gonna give him access to online betting like smart gadgets of kinds including phones, laptop, and smart watches.
If the person is always gambling on online casinos, then his movement must be regulated by close friends and family and on no account should he be allowed to visit any online casino center even if he says he's not going there to gamble because even if he didn't go their to gamble, there's every possiblity of getting tempted to gamble immediately he sees others gambling.

Once you have involved yourself in it becomes almost impossible for you to control your urge, you always want to go for more, more especially if you have not win for a while, the mindset is that, I will win, this I will win syndrome has made so many people lose funds meant for other things.

These tools should be personal, developing these tools needs seriousness and discipline to keep the action going, it has to be clear to us that gambling being an addictive behaviour should be avoided by folks who can't control the hunger when it comes.
This stuff keeps pushing even when you say no to it, I will say that determination is just the way forward and the answer to this situation.

You already mention that it’s already impossible to control urge once you already involved which means developing your own tool will not gonna be helpful too since you knew exactly how this tools work and you can make a loophole so that you can bypass this tool just to meet your gambling urge.

Therapy is best way to deal with gambling addiction and not kind of tool that can be easily avoid the restrictions.

Exactly, if you made your own rule just to prevent yourself on gambling, you are just clowning yourself then. For sure a lot of people who's addicted on  certain thing already said the same thing by "I will not do it again" and eventually will try something that could prevent them to do their addiction which they fail. For example let's say porn addiction, we know the negatives effect of this addiction as it affects individual mental health as well their physical health, as they try to stop themselves by simply blocking some sites, for sure they would still look up for it as they can't resist the "urge".

The best is to get check up on the professionals such as the therapy since they could help you for a change, if you can't still afford to check up for a therapy, try talking and opening up with your family as they can help you to prevent your addiction such as keeping your funds safe and would give you if you need them. Just choose someone that are trustworthy cause in my case there's still some people even from my family will use it for their own.

Here's my idea to protect your finances, you could consider handing over your money to a trusted individual like your parents, partner or other trustees like your best friend. This strategy could be helpful if you have a gambling addiction and want to prevent yourself from spending money impulsively. By entrusting your finances to someone else, they can hold onto your money and release it to you only when you need it for the right reasons. This way, you can take control of your finances and protect yourself from unnecessary spending.

I haven't been through a severe form of this, but I've certainly been through instances in which I could have gone home with good winnings but ended up with nothing instead. And this is because I wasn't able to control my urge to bet more even if it already seemed my luck has already expired.

But it seems your situation is a bit worse. I think you better stay away from logging on to your gambling accounts altogether. Keep your focus on something else. Try to be busy on other things. If you feel that this doesn't work, I recommend that you visit a professional.

Gambling, especially winning, will be random and continuous and whether you will be as lucky today as someone else you see then it depends on your luck at that time. I understand that every gambler will definitely experience a win or two in a few tries or even dozens of tries, but as you know and you understand that more often than not it will only be a loss with different amounts each session. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get the same amount of money as you, but I'm sure I'm going to be able to get the same amount of money as you, and I'm not going to be able to get the same amount of money as you, but I'm not going to be able to get the same amount of money.

So the final result in gambling really cannot be predicted, whatever method you bring will not be completely successful, and even if it can, the chances will be very small. Therefore, what should be our main focus is to apply good self-control, do not be too excessive in terms of expecting because there is no guarantee of anything. And yes if indeed your situation is getting worse with increasingly dominating defeats then you should really get out of gambling, forget everything, occupy yourself with other things as a form of prevention so that you do not remember gambling, and if you have difficulty then you can seek help from people around you or even from a professional.
