It is a server PSU.

Here are pics

(pics above)

Interesting I was expecting to see on PCIE slots not on cable there.  What is the brand/model server PSU you were using?   Server PSU does not really tell a lot.

Hopefully I did a decent job explaining on warranty.  Which site did you purchase the miner from?

One of my three S7's stopped hashing (could still access GUI)

Upon looking the controller cable from blade 1 to the control board has melted.

Anyone else had something similar?

It's still under warranty.

It won't has now, did did show the other two blades were ok but no hashing.

Will get some pics up later

Who's the best contact for warranty, think I used someone in the US last time I had a faulty S3 blade who was very quick and helpful.

What PSU are you using?   Just checking as if cheap PSU or something it can void warranty:
3. In some cases, the warranty will be void, but Bitmain can still do repairs at your own expense if requested. The following events will void the warranty:

     a. Customer removes/replaces any components by himself without receiving permission from Bitmain first;

     b. Damage caused by poor power supply, lightning or voltage surges;

     c. Burnt parts on hash boards or chips;

     d. Miner/boards/components damage due to water immersion or corrosion due to wet environment.

For warranty work it is decided by who you purchased from, on who you can send it to:

It sounds like you ordered from Bitmaintech.com  you will need to email Bitmain - [email protected] and ask about a RMA.   If you buy from them warranty work is done in China.

The US site you mentioned is BitmainWarranty.com .  They do a great job on warranty work but you must purchase the unit from them to get warranty work done there. If you were out of warranty you could pay for repair services and use them which is great option if in US.
