You seem to forget that most writers/YouTubers get additional revenues from ads. So, whatever your project is, as long as it can bring traffics to them and not scammy etc, maybe they will do it.

The real question here is, whether their viewers are real or not.

its depending on your project, if the project for "humanity" or maybe charity like "kitabisa.com" in indonesia.
i think everyone will be interesting to make a content to promote it.

people have different way to support project, like review content project, share to social media platform etc. sometimes people will donate to project, so the goal target can be complete by team.

You are missing something. Most news blogs are desperate for new ideas / new posts. Many of them will help for free.

In the world of cryptocurrencies, I didn't see anything free yet.

I think that the only real requirement is to prove it's indeed a worthy project and clearly not something shady (so it can affect their reputation).

I agree 100%

Absolutely not, I have better things to do in my life then provide my services for free to startups. If you have money to hire programmers, then you should also have money to pay your promoters. I don't want to sound too harsh, but this is just socializing the risks while privatizing the profits - if the product takes off, the people behind it will be rich, while those who promoted it for free will get nothing - if the product flops, promoters also get nothing.

Some people really do create content for free and doesn't always depend on sponsored content to create the content itself since they do have other streams of income like monetizing their channel/website with ads which a lot of content creators really depend on. The thing about free content is you don't ask them to create for you and they won't be coming for you first, you need too have your project to attractive for the content creators to even decide to review your project for free. Asking them directly would just make them instantly ask you for money since they know you want to have a review for your project.

If you like their idea, would you accept making content about them and not getting any money (I mean only money) in the begining?

I had a blog (not crypto related) at some point and I know how difficult is to have something new to post. And new posts means new pages the ads are shown on.

I think that the only real requirement is to prove it's indeed a worthy project and clearly not something shady (so it can affect their reputation).

Content for free, why not.
I know many projects which have hard supporters and they did support in different ways.
I created websites for a couple of projects without any payments for my work. Also regularly post on my social media important information, without obligation to profit from it not even through the referral program.

Unless you have absolutely no portfolio or can't get paid work despite your attempts, then I would not personally complete work for free—that is, unless there is some sort of non-monetary benefit instead.

This could include significant exposure, improved networking or the potential for a very well paid job in the very near future.

With that said, if the company can't afford to pay you, then they probably don't have much visibility and can't promise anything. Stay ahead from startups in this regard, since many of these have no potential and you'll just waste your time.

First of all, Merry Christmax & Happy NY, everyone! 🎄

Same to you mate.

I'm thinking about something. Say, you hold a Medium / Wordpress blog or you do YouTube content, or you have lots of subscribers / followers in your social media. And apparently, you notice guys who trying to tell the world about their great idea. Or they already developing MVP. Or they just finished MVP. They don't have a shitcoin and they don't ask for investors standing on a chair on every birthday or funeral. All they ask – a bit of support.

In a perfect world, maybe, just maybe you can find people who are willing to support a certain project for free.

If you like their idea, would you accept making content about them and not getting any money (I mean only money) in the begining?

However, sad to say that people today are not going to work for free here in this market. At least give them some incentive. And for those who are going to help you out, you don't know, maybe in the beginning they will do it for free, but sooner or later they might think otherwise.

It's almost impossible to get free content unless your project is established one & the other party is a blogger blogging for building his own site; startup project would never get free promotion unless there's any honest review site exist.
Even if someone promises to get you free content, I bet the content will never be high quality. Think the free content as free version of different software/plugin etc.  Cheesy To get high quality, you must have to spend some handsome amount.

If you have created something of value and you are looking for a way to promote yourself why not do it here? Make an announcement thread or post about your service in the Services board. Tell the community about your idea. If it is a good one, you won't need to to pay people and youtubers to mention you.

What are you trying to make?

Happy Holidays!

Seems more like a question directed at social media celebrities and not a member of a forum. Cheesy

There are hundreds, thousands of those people everyday.

Or they already developing MVP. Or they just finished MVP.
First one would like to check that MVP and the idealogy of the project before moving further.

Yeah I heard that story a lot of times. End of the day the truth is that "Money speaks" and it is the things that makes people do work. Any project out there asking for support is another non-begging way of asking for money.

Nobody does anything without money. There is always the under the table deal with youtubers even when they say that they are not being paid for it.

If I'm still developing the blog, YT or social media account, I will create a content for free, especially if the project has a good idea and potentially bright in the future, it's like a win-win situation in marketing. But if the account has grown and has many followers, personally if I am a project owner I will definitely pay, unless the project is related to charity.

It depends on a certain person if he's willing to advertise that certain content for free but majority will surely asked out for a charge yet they know that they can give out significant on said project.

Asking me? I would do it for a charge.Nothing is free on this world but for sure there are some people who would give out for free.

Depending on project, we can not only make a content for free. We have our own projects tracker, news portal and solid track record of ICOs done. A 2020 is a year of collaborations.  Smiley
