It is a good idea not to download wallets of unproven outfits. And not everything will trigger a response from an anti-virus.

Maybe if you have a virtual machine running on a old dummy pc (that doesn't have access to your other crypto) with a clean OS installed, or a burner phone...but you have to remember that any virus is now on the Local area network side of your router which is never good.

I dont know of any Airdrops right now, but their are new ICOs being launched soon, and they could have really worthy bounties and airdrop campaigns. Check coinschedule for upcoming ICOs.
One ICO that will be available soon is DIW - Decentralized Security, i recommend to keep an eye on this one, it will be big.

I dont know of any new airdrop coins but i know of two ongoing ones. These are DeepOnion and Bitcore both of which are around half way through their airdrop programs. Bitcore is a compounded airdrop which requires you to have at least 1 BTX and DeepOnion has an airdrop based on participation within the community and holding a small stake of onions in your wallet. Still looking for some more if anyone knows of some good shouts.
