from the news I heard, ICO in china is blocked because china wants to make its own coin same as bitcoin, so china block bitcoin to make coin which in it can be sold in the market (that's according to news I heard).
Because a lot of ICO's are scammers. They don't ban it; they will filter it to protect investors.
yes i am agree with you.Pump and dump is habit of cryptopia but Now most of ico are scammer.they cheated many people .I think Filter all ico and protected all investors because investors are really trusted Ico and invest there money.Scammer always proposed huge profit and takes money from investor give false whitepaper. 
I advise you to keep holding and buying if the price dumps more. Maybe China just did it to buy big amount with very lower price.
This is what I'm thinking now. It can be said that china is a country that has raised criptocurrency, so china can not possibly want to destroy cryptocurrency. All we have to do now is calm down and watch the market. it will be better than throwing away what should be our benefit.

Since China is one of the biggest owning mining farm in the entire world, perhaps they know once they've banned all the ico it will take affect the value of bitcoin, then once its dumped they will buy a huge of bitcoin and more whalers will pursue to do it. 
Be confident with what you hold. Especially when the price of the coin is currently down, we must be patient and mentally ready when the coins we hold have decreased in price. So, HODL and WIN.

rumors say China forbids ico, due to too much and more lively ico that harm Chinese people. in other words many ico are scam. but I do not really know exactly whether or not the rumor.
but if we learn China has a country record that often imitates and has a tough politics.
there are other options of the rumor. it is possible that these rumors are maintained and developed so that bitcoin values fall to the lowest level.
perhaps the ICO ban is used to control the development of cryptocurrency in China. because the development of cryptocurrency in China, especially in the field of mining is very rapid.
