Bitcoin Gold's future is bleak because it has not shaped itself as a digital currency. The basic idea behind this codified coin is to create a decentralized digital asset block by extending "mining" in control. Observers are concerned about the state of the currency is overly concentrated.
I'd rather be in the OG Bitcoin in all honesty.

Like why would you want to invest in a coin that solely derives its value from having "bitcoin" in its name? Think about it, if Bitcoin gold had another name and didn't have the blockchain snapshot, no way it's worth as much as it is right now.
Also considering that its got a lot of competitors, even when it's a fork coin, imho its popularity will fade. People are just buying it because they heard about its blockchain snapshot, and over the long run I'd rather be in BTC for sure.
Sell it and buy BTCP, Privacy is where its at yo!

Sad to say that those Fork coins of bitcoin has no good future.they will always follow bitcoin and wont stand by their own,look at all bitcoin related coins,does they made some good run from the day they were released?if bitcoin cash doesn't supported by Roger Ver maybe it died longtime agoThe unknown parties are taking ther advantages from bitcoin cash and they were learning if through issued bitcoin fork coin and it can be acepted by exchange site instantly.

don't expect much on the bitcoin gold. These coins are difficult to have a good future. the short term will be difficult to expect from these coins. If the long term also even I don't think it will generate a lot of profit.

The forecast from me is that clearly at the moment bitcoin has increased greatly, and if you want to start investing in this particular cryptocurrency, then at the same time, I think the coin will grow. 
It seems that only one fork of bitcoin can say that it worked, all the others either died at the initial stage or after the pump. That Bitcoin Gold stopped and there is no drop or growth and most likely it is his ceiling which he is unable to break through.
Don't worry about BTG, it will grow slowly but steadily so don't panic at all and HOLD them..
for current achievements $64.44. I guess to $300 would be very difficult. see the development of these coins every year less so interesting. look forward to the $200 has been very good but for this year just seemed to will also be difficult to achieve.

I personally never buy something that came to other market participants for free (I mean whole supply). One never knows, what plans have btc whales who received btg for 0 usd.

It can as I don't think your prediction is extreme but it depends on coin, you should look at team, roadmap but I also don't think bitcoin gold will shine a lot.

You should wait until next big pump come. As for me: most of BTC forks are scam, created just for 1 purpose - easy way to earn money for their creators.

Nope, btg is a dead coin, nobody mention it, and even when BTC fork and give free btg coin, nobody really interested, the rising is only because some people pump it, and no sign of this coin will become the next big coin and big investors also never mention btg, so even if btg could rise to 300$ it won't stay long and going to fall back really soon
