Don't trust anyone (avoid shortener link service) maybe it contains malware where they will steal your sensitive stuff.
Make sure you know any original site , because they have many designs with different domain name (this can help you to identify any phising sites)
Yeah many people who use shortern link so others people can not easily recognize the fake sites and to close their domain addresses that are not similar to the domain that they are replicas. to display you might be tricked but for the domain will be obvious. but you have to be careful with a mailer that goes into your email and you have to check the domain. do not believe in the mailer that went into spam dude
I don't know if it would actually help, but whenever I see shortened link from an untrusted source, I use TOR browser and have all my antimalwares and antiviruses on high alert. That way, I feel safe. Or at least I think I am.

Cloud mining sites are usually scam. Avoid them. During transactions, always escrow especially when it is a large tx. Other tips are actually already said by other users.
But , that software don't make you 100% safe , even ruined your device performance. When that software runs on sametime
It's up to you to secure your device with any anti-malware and anti-virus , but "prevent better than cure"
Why about you say the software don't ,make you 100% safe and the ending of your post is prevent better than cure. please read again about your post OP make a prevent with using anti-malware and virus at the same time they can cure at any time.
For my quote "prevent better than cure" , as i said earlier don't click any suspicious link (and shorten link service) for avoid you for getting virus and malware on your device. And for that software (i don't use any antivirus or anti-malware , just for info)  , if you getting infected with virus , it's hard to cure it even you have up-to-date antivirus/malware (it's happen on some viruses).

Yes, dont click any suspicious link you are not familiar with. Some scammers are advertising those links on chatroom, troll boxes and once you inputted your username and password, it will go their list and they will use to access your account.Do not put same user name or password when signing up, as they can used it. Do not download any programs whom you didn't know. Use virus scanner on it before running.

I think you do not need to invest in hype site because they do not live more than a month if they collect their goal amount they will run brings all your coin, scammer you can prevent that by not giving your trust to the person you want to transact.

True, the hype everywhere would surely negatively affect those of us who use it. All website investments that now I trust that all the sites using the system the hype/ponzi. The system will continue to run if there is a victim, and if there are no casualties then the system will stop and is detrimental to everyone

Since I know bitcoin, a simple way to avoid it is to never visit the HYIP sites, cloud mining or other investment. For as long as I know the site as it is a cheat and a thief. Thank you

I think if you apply the 'there is no such thing as a free lunch' rule, along with diligence about the things you are investing in, you should be alright. Avoiding outright scams is only half the battle in this space; there are always unknown unknowns like Gox and Cryptsy that pop up. The safest thing you can honestly do is simply keep your coins in your wallet, and hodl.

A good rule of thumb is to completely discard every single Bitcoin 'opportunity' offered to you. That means no cloud mining, no investment schemes, no securities, no lending, and the list goes on and on.

If there is something that comes up, first forget about it, just to be double sure then see if there's a thread on here. Nothing in Bitcoinland worth bothering with fails to show up. Check how moronic the posts are. If there are no threads then it's even more certain to be a scam.

Park your coins somewhere safe under your control. Don't gamble. Don't listen to anyone.
This seems a good rule of thumb when we are a newcomer to every environment including  business environments.

Explore their site first.. most of the sites are giving hourly back with a low cost.. and it could end up to a scam. why would you invest on a site that will return your money for 2 to 6 months with a low %... so just beware of that kind of stuffs.. there are so many ways to have bitcoin on your own.

If you don not want to be victimized by scammers be vigilant to notice if they are transparent enough. If a site or an individual  accepts investment without a clear source of where he is going to use the funds and where will they get the payout then it is probably a scam. Second is research on the net on the list of scam sites so you can be safe with investing,
yeah one sign that the site is a scam site or ponzi/hyip is very obvious that they are guaranteed to double your bitcoin with a certain time and they did not give a clear explanation against them in their businesses? very sure they will be a scam when they've got a lot of bitcoin they can take a run

That is true do not make trust to any one here in online transactions and also avoid investing you money in some site like mining site that will result to scam later on. Just keep it in your mind that your bitcoin is safe in your wallet and it will continue to grow if you will keep it for a long time.

There are different things to learn. First is about avoiding scammers and the second is avoiding phishing sites. To avoid scammers you should check it on google research it if the site belongs to bad sites, it it is on the list you need to avoid it even if is already long in the business it will just scam you after they earned your trust. Next is the phishing site, to avoid phishing sites do not click any links and if you click them dont enter your email and btc address. But if you have a hard time sorting out if it is a phishing site or not you must make a new email address and new wallet. In every investment site you join you must have a different one email address and wallet. That way even though they are phishing your wallet or account they will get anything.

some ways to prevent our data or our money from scammers :
- dont share your emailto public
- never share your password to anyone
- check daily your account
- get full security on your email or wallet
- prevent your computer from malware with antivirus
- avoid suspicious link, dont click anything.

In addition, always do your research; make sure what people are saying about the site and if their review seems good you can go ahead and use it. If you're still a bit suspicious use a little money to check out the site.
