You might want to check the Cryptopia thread at the link below, if there is anything new it is most probably to get posted there:

Sorry about your loss. I think this might take a while. Seems like any update is shown on the website. I have a friend in the same boat as you. Hang in there.

I think that you can already forget about all the money that was on this exchange. they are officially closed and I think that there is no chance for them to return to this market. very sad  Cry

You will get your money back but im not sure if that will happen in short time.
You can read the latest announcement that has already made by cryptopia a few months ago.
https://www.grantthornton.co.nz/update-for-cryptopia-account-holders-20-august-2019/

Cryptopia will be implementing KYC verification for any accounts that already registered in the cryptopia in the future and to able get your money back and you must complete all of the verifications but it's too risky to do that consider cryptopia was not a safe site again. It has a lot of chance for your identity to be leaked in the future.
This is bad move from cryptopia, many people including myself use that exchange for only two reasons..
1. Huge lists of supported altcoins
2. No KYC
Now i don't think that i can trust the exchange anymore, why implement KYC now for users to get their funds back? nice move cryptopia, nice move. I am glad i don't have any coins and tokens on the exchange and i am sure that this will serve as a big lesson to others who loves treating exchanges like their personal wallets

Gladly I've pulled out all those tokens I've been holding at cryptopia last 2018 and then transferred it to my external wallet. As this issue arose so badly, I don't think those funds lost had no chance to be recovered in a short period of time. There are rumors I heard that it was an inside job from the administrator who handled the privacy of each and every holding. Hopefully, it wasn't a serious accusation because that was so disappointing if proven.

Its really   painful for your  lost  asset  but i will say  be patient a bit.  The  fact  that  the exchange is still live mean they  are going to reimburse the users who lost  their assets.  i read some of  their  update few days ago which  was about how they  can reimburse people..  just  keep  holding your faith.  surely they  will reimburse you someday  ..
What does mean, the exchange is still live?
From all the news available, it is clear that the liquidators just saved the Cryptopia database in a safe place. There is still a long way to go: check all the data, KYC for everyone. But this is not at all like a live exchange.

No updates about it. Address your concerns here in this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cryptopia-cryptocurrency-platform-services-and-development-1669443
You are not the only one who has coin in there, I also have a bit of altcoins in the exchange but I have no intention to get it from them. Liquidators are not even updating anyone, the announcement in the index page could just mean say good bye to your coins.

There is news about this from them, but it is just a progress about the meeting and some of the stuff. They did not say anything about the method of the refund though.
here is the latest news about them and the leaked email:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/cryptopia-exchange-liquidator-asks-its-devs-how-to-reimburse-users
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EFQ5W2hUEAEyDs-?format=png&name=large

Let's wait until further information from the liquidator and the others, I believe they will reimburse their costumer.

Move this to Exchanges board You can see that option below.

I have little funds there and I no longer expect that I can still recover it. In your case, I'm afraid that you just have to wait for another official announcement. Liquidation usually takes a long time and the manual reconciliation of accounts adds to the delay.

Best of luck with your funds mate.

Sorry for your lost, but as far as I know, the latest announcement was made during this summer, when they stated that investigation is still ongoing on early stages. Science than, there was no further announcements made.
