I have convinced one of my neighbor as well. He was addicted to play on physical casinos but since the outbreak, all casinos here are also on a lockdown period. So we exchange, his fiat and my btc help him set it up and everything.

Now he is comfortable playing at home, online, his only complain is that he still wanted the environment of a physical casino. I just said he will get used to it in time. He lost like .01-0.02 BTC, but I don't think he will stop anytime soon.

Well, I was able to influence my older brother to play Online Casino. Since physical casinos are all forced to close. My brother does not have a choice but to stay at home. Since I hate him and I don't want him to stop his addiction [just kidding, my bro plays for fun], --I introduced him to the Online Casino. Personally, I don't have any friends who are addicted to gambling. However, I do know a couple of relatives who have gambling addiction issues and they basically shifted to playing online completely since the beginning of this month.

I agree it would be nice for those who are addicted to casino or even those who only starting to gamble to have a break.

I haven't tried to invite my friend on online gambling because we are not really used in any gambling websites or real life casino, I know that gambling can make people happy and make money but for me I can have both of that in other aspects of my life, I can be more happy spending my time on my family and friends, I can earn more money without a doubt when doing my work. I will not waste my time gambling because that is not really a sure win situation.

your nice mate . i like the idea of suggesting someone something good instead of approaching them first to try gambling or online gambling but its okay if he still insist to play gambling . that still his money .

not many people will switch to online gambling if they are already a live player on local casinos no matter what happens whether if there was a virus threat or not . i have a friend who plays local gambling and he also play gambling on his phone but never suggested him to try crypto gambling because i know that he will not get intersted to it

I don't invited my friend to play online gambling because even me, I do not usually play online gambling or even real life gambling, I only played once a week, something like that, because I know that there is no good things that this gambling can give to me, yes it can give me money and happiness sometimes, but I think for me that is not enough reason to stay on gambling.

Gambling is not a sure win situation so I do not want to keep my self on the things that I will not assure myself that I can win on that, I am not really a risk taker.

No, I didn't invite anyone recently to play online casino. To be honest I don't know someone who are playing real casino where I am living now in abroad. But I believe my country's casino not yet closed those are illegal. Because government don't know about them. If only gamblers leave playing voluntarily then likely would closed. So really it's quite difficult to closed. But some of area in my country lockdown so that are should forced to closed casino even that's illegal. Those had enjoyed real life live casino, would they interested to play it on online?

Talk to one of my gambling buddies here, but from the looks of it, I don't think that he is not that interested as of the moment though. Perhaps I needed some persuasions, he said that he doesn't have a desktop, I said that a mobile phone is ok. All he has to do is to buy some bitcoins and he is ok to go. So let's see, maybe I needed to let him see when I play online, he is a slot player, if I may add.

@btc_angela I too am facing the same issue as my friends like land based casinos a lot, and suddenly asking them to switch to online casinos is a big task for me. However I’m not giving up and hopefully soon I’ll be able to convince them to start playing online, and to get them started I’m thinking of giving them few Satoshis so that they can get used to playing on online casinos.

It is not that I am not gambling online or taking any online bets but it is just that my friend invited me to do some online bets and we did. I also suggested some esports bettings to him but he said he is not interested in that. He also tipped me so, yeah, it is great.

I haven't even tried inviting a friend to play in online casinos at this moment. Well, in the first place I don't have friends who are full time land-based casino gamblers. I know of a few who play at casinos occasionally but there is no one I think who badly needs an alternative to it at this time of lockdown. Also, I think such invitation does not sound nice unless asked for given the economic circumstances at the moment. They better be spending their quality time with their families.

Well, we have been playing online for quite some time now so no need. Hell, with no money at times, we just play together and make some dares and the like to make it more fun tbh. On another note though, this could be a good time for players to transition to online gambling and the like. Not only players, but also the way people transact with bills/payments/etc. It could be a time where companies could slowly implement online payments, and even online work stations if possible. We are at the age where those are completely possible after all. The only factor that prevents us so from doing that is workers being unable to adapt to it properly.

Most of my casino friends are online gamblers also so there are no need for them to be encourage.

But i have talked to my cousin yesterday and he asked me what and where to play gambling as he was boring now about the quarantine so i have told and teach him how to play online using crypto and i even offer him to purchase Bitcoin or ethereum from me to start playing and we will find later if he is interested since we talked late at night yesterday.
