Instead of using a mixer, you can also consider coinjoin transactions. One of the implementations JoinMarket is pretty successful.
You can follow the official thread here.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-joinmarket-coinjoin-that-people-will-actually-use-919116

The advantage is your coins never leave your computer. So no risk of the mixing company running away with your coins.
What proof is there that its mostly exchanges that interact with JoinMarket and not bad guys, who I suspect, will, eventually?

Only bitmixer and cryptomixer that i saw here that i already tested here and i think they are still legit and it is good to choose them..

Do you think guys how about the torwallet that has bitcoin mixer? planning to use their wallet but upon searching in google i saw some bad reviews.
Do you have idea or do you tested this wallet that has built in bitcoin mixer? just asking thanks.

If i use bitmixer and crypto mixer it is a thirdparty but i want is a wallet that has already an option to mix bitcoin..

There is no reason to use an online wallet if you can use an SPV wallet like Electrum. Admin of an online wallet can steal your bitcoins and it happens very often. On the other side, the SPV wallets don't rely on a trusted third party and are much more secure. Torwallet is probably a scam:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/torwallet-scammer-112327

The bitcoin mixer keeps your bitcoins only for a few minutes or hours. You still have to trust it, but at least it doesn't keep all your bitcoins, only one transaction.

We wrote an article about it if you are interested:
https://coinmixer.se/en/bitcoin-mixing-service/how-to-use-bitcoin-anonymously/
Coinmixer.se is completly right here. I would refrain from using any kind of wallet with integrated mixer. I heard not so pleasant stories about mixing wallets.
If wallet provider is equally anonymous as users and are using TOR, then what keeps him from stealing your coins other than his word?

Bitcoin mixer severs the links between your old address and a new address by sending coins from you to other people and coins from them to you.
What if the other person is doing something illegal and LE think
you are involved in their racket too (even though your not); referring to the "from them to you" bit?

Am I the only one who thinks mixers are useless?

Everyone who has average skills can protect his privacy without using such services.

They're not useless at all. Rather than using a VPN or proxy constantly it's so much easier to just anonymously mix your coins. I would suggest everyone mix their coins regularly because why not? It's a small price to pay for financial freedom.

It seems like to protect privacy people would need to do both: mixing/coinjoining bitcoins and hide the IP address. I don't see a reason to mix coins if you're going to associate the new coins with your IP address anyway.
Up to my understanding IP address are not binding with bitcoin transactions. Only input and output address are traceable. Maybe a service point of view or from government, we might need to mask our original IP addresses and may need new new IPs. But, that must be totally different case from what benefits we are getting from bitcoin mixers.

You are correct that Bitcoin transactions do not contain the IP address of their origin. However, it seems likely that many bitcoin nodes are being run for the purpose of spying on the network. With enough nodes, an agent can identify the IP of the node from which the transaction originated.

Bitmixer has been listed here quite often, but in the past I've actually used gambling sites as bitcoin mixers too. I already had an account on bustabit so I decided to use it as a mixer once, and it worked just fine.
Yes, bitmixer seems reliable because I can see it been advertised everywhere on this forum. Despite it popularity, I have never heard any complain against the service may the OP can try it because the popular one mostly can not be a wrong one always. After bitmixer, cryptomixer is gaining popularity here in this forum.

This just for eliminating your the history about your transaction of I can say preferring into your trace amount dude. and so, i think it's useful at this time and there is no relationship with the people's skill, although you can using the simplest way for the alternative besides using mixing service.

This is just applicable for those people who have transactions involved into people with deep web or dark marketplaces.

Because there are some exchanges that are not allowing a person to sell their bitcoins to them if they will trace the transaction history.

And founds out that his bitcoin came from bad sources.

Mixers are really helpful for those people who are involved with some fishy transactions and maybe most of the people in deep web uses this.

And even though you had a average skill in hiding your identity as long as you are in the web, don't be too comfortable that no one is able to trace your transactions or bitcoins from where you got it.

Besides, no one will trace you if you don't get involved with illegal transactions. There are some exchange sites from each country that prohibits to buy bitcoins from people who got their bitcoin from illegal source.

So that's the use of mixers in my own understanding, I don't know if there are some who using it daily just for hiding their history of transactions.

Strength in Numbers
As i know, one from the longest running, signature campaigns is Bitmixer. Probably no one has such a good reputation as they have.
I realize about the longest history of bitmixer, but about for mentioning their signature campaign in here it's a bullshit ever I have seen to this day..... and what the hell is that? isn't caused by their signature campaign but they're building their own reputation with their service.

This is the most reliable and best bitcoin mixer of all time. They had already built their reputation and base upon their feed backs.

Bitmixer has been the best mixer and they are also offering some opportunity to invest to their sites.

So you can be also their investor if you want to get some profit too.
