Use nevermore ccminer https://github.com/brian112358/nevermore-miner/releases with options: --no-getwork --no-stratum --coinbase-addr=YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS

Thanks, I know about nevermore, but ccminer gives better hashrate. That's why I'm asking mat4202 to help.

I do not recommend solo mining. It could have worked 6-7 years ago. But now it is not profitable. Powerful pools produced almost all the blocks. You will work in the minus. Can you imagine how many miners there are in the world? They are all against you. You think that you can contrast themselves around the world? Lol.
If you compare and contrast we would basically see the difference when we are soloing in mining and as being said this would only be worth if we done this thing on previous years but seeing out the market which do have big pools then you will easily see the disadvantage if you tend to go with solo.Profitability thinking isnt suited on solo but when it comes to hobby and just testing it out and explore up mining system then proceed.

Yep, just starting to do it at scale.

Plus I used to mine Litecoin and Doge back when you could do it on a desktop computer.

I have come to believe that in the long run pool mining and solo mining equal out.  Regardless of your hash rate, if given enough time for even the highest difficulty coins, you will eventually find a block.  And I’d bet the reward for that block will be pretty even to what you would have made pool mining.

The one thing you can’t account for is the “luck” factor.  If you happen to hit a block while soloing before you should have, you’re ahead of the game.  If it’s taking longer to find a block than the calculators say, then you’d been better off pool mining.  But like I said, it evens out in the long run.

Personally, I’ve found blocks solo mining Musicoin, Akroma and Pegascoin (before the reward was reduced).

It really depends on your current hashrate. I wouldnt solo mine with only 1 GPU... You really need a farm for it, or as someone said already, the coin is fresh out and the difficulty is really low

why not i do with my one gtx970 i mine pxc and i make more then i could pool mining the most profitable coin at the time

Hi Mat!

Could you please help me with solo?
I did everything you wrote, but receiving "Method hot found".
Trying to solo END coin.

Thank you for your instructions for solo mining!!

im a solo miner to...but it takes too much time to reach my minimum withdawal because my pc is not in high end specs...

solomining has no minimum withdraw .... it's binary, 0 - you don't find a block | 1 - you find a block and get full reward

Solo mining is a good choice to start mining,. When people want to have experience in mining then they can do solo with one coin to mine, specially when they don't have the right mining tolls yet.

Point taken!
Really, I like what you do. When we know the key, with whatever devices we have, we can do Solo Mining. Keep going!

I solo mine almost every day but only for 15 minutes. I just like playing the lottery, and maybe one day I'll get lucky and hit a block.

If your hashrate 50% or more from the Global Hashrate, 15 minutes "may enough", but also you need to consider coin's Block Time. Based on my experience, ideally one hour.

My solution was to set up my own stratum pool in a virtual machine so I can just use any ccminer. I did it mostly because I wanted to learn how to set up a pool.

for me I'm not familiar with mining in altcoins but I'm also learning mining because I do not want to go into something like mining if you do not have enough skills to do it so I'm studying mona before I try. because its users are pretty good at mining so I've been studying mining very well to make it even better.

We have to mining discussion should be solo users cryptocurrency.the altcoin if that digital money of mining process We will also require you to download some files from external site we haven't encountered any problems with any of the tools we are about to recommend, but we assume no responsibility for anything you do to your hardware or software while mining Altcoins or any other cryptocurrency.the people's required solo mind profit from altcoin.we will decided that I want to mine a bunch of altcoins and completely disregard short term profitability mining of solo process system.

You are the man!  Wink
How many blocks solved each day by the way? Am curious to compare with pooled mining estimation.
Have you tried other Ethash coins? Music coin maybe?

I am mining 2 - 3 blocks a day, best was 7 blocks at one day, but got them with a luck of under 20 % each.
Other coins are not such profitable like ethereum at time.
Got a private multipool with Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Expanse with autoswitching between coins.
I am only mining the "big 3" DaggerHashimoto coins, but in fact only ethereum, based on profitablity.

Almost same as pooled mining, with 31.5 GH/s seems you get 2.4 ETH (Calculator say) ATM. But with solo mining, you have a chance to get 3 and more ETH. It seems a good choice for solo mining at yours Hashrate.

also quick question for you were do you get your info to help decide which coins you might try mining Huh?

Everywhere.
Old thread coin Ann, even Whattomine, Coinwarz, wherever. If you know the key, it will make you have a different view with regular miners when seeing some coin with technical info.
