Even I started by using yobit but I left almost a year and a half ago,as every one mentioned their owners are just so greedy, according to me there were high chances of loosing my bitcoins there.currently none of my friends use yobit
Yobit has always had these shady and questionable ways of doing things which to me makes it a very unsafe place to drop my asset and trade. However, so many people are still trading on them and they have always had these way of still staying afloat despite all the criticisms but as for me, I always avoid them like plague cause I feel a time will come when users will wake up and see that their funds are all gone.

I remember when I started on here, YoBit was a big company at the time - still as shitty as before with its support and the amount of shitcoins on it but it was still big with a MASSIVE SIGNATURE campaign presence on here (even if they were a spammy sig campaign, kinda matched the company)

Does anyone know if they're still around and trading? And if so, if they're doing good as an trading network these days.

Yes, I still use it and I agree that it is still crappy up until now.

i still using yobit although yobit is not my main site for trading and i do this for a long time ago. the first time i know yobit is because i often to played with their faucet and yes there is many of altcoin faucet that we can get the reward but of course the rewards is not too big and most of the coins is cheap coins. until now sometimes i am playing with the faucet and sometimes if i want to do trade, i can directly buy the coins from the list and the coins its cheap price so we can buy for a big amount. last few days ago, i see in yobit, bts got pump but unfortunately the wallet is maintenance so i can not send my bts balance to yobit.

YoBit has always been one of the biggest exchanges that has been created, but the owners are so greedy, they want to raise as much money as they can, and this is why they are listing shitty coins only to receive some bitcoins for free in order to list them, and that is why there are some pump and dump coins, and nobody can stop this. And they are stopping people to withdraw their funds, probably this is the main reason of why people are not using YoBit anymore, it is a shady exchange.

I have not personally used yobit.but i have heard that there are long delays especially related to withdrwals.
I am a yobit user and really the withdrawal time is not delayed as to what you are hearing.

I've always purposefully avoided Yobit entirely, their fees are a lot higher than on other exchanges and they seem to add shitcoins non stop.
The fact that they operate a dice game on the same website also looks a bit shady.

I wouldn't really call Yobit a reputable exchange, not planning on using it any time soon.

I am currently not using Yobit for trading. I stopped trading there some months ago.
But I login daily because I have about 48 shit coins there which need to be sale out before I exit completely.

Honestly speaking I have never faced any problem there.
I have only seen all the scam accusations of Yobit in this forum which were genuine accusations.

The main problem of Yobit is, they have a shit support system and frequently altcoin's wallets goes in maintenance.
Other than these problems I don't see anything else, because I got paid every time when I requested a withdrawal.

Yobit still alive, even with the terrible support they have, its curious they had add these days a lot new options where you can trade some strong currencies into another altcoins. If they just focus a bit into the support for sure they could be top 3 exchanges, but well, dont know why but looks like big companies dont wanna staff to work with costumers issues, poloniex were amazing till the day trollbox were closed and their support gone in the same moment. I do have some yovi coins, soo i do it usually for sell mine coins, and sometimes i get some altcoin and cashout.

Yes i did it a few days ago,
and so far i never encountered something bad while using their service,
i did it because only them and some 'unknown' exchanger listing some of my portfolio.
they're still running their exchanger,
from my point of view their deposit system a bit strange(even though i did not have a problem after sending my coin),
why i called it that why ? because whenever you sent your coin to them and then check it on explorer you will see that your coin already delivered to their wallet,
but when you checked your wallet, deposit history, you will not see it even you will not see your 'deposit progress'.
after a few minutes later your coin suddenly show up.
seems like they're crediting your coin manually or something else,
but i prefer to not doing any trade in there, and only do it if you have an urgent matter.

I do not use it anymore because I dont really like it especially since they add the gambling game. I also feel that the site is so laggy in my browser unlike when I'm doing trades at other exchanges such as bittrex or kraken.
There are also many negative feedback against yobit which makes me more sure to leave their site and move to other sites. It is just personal opinion, some other people may still using it as they do not have any issues at all. Its all about preferences.

if you don't plan on making either a deposit or a withdrawal of 80% of the altcoins listed on Yobit, then you can use their services without any issues. you can deposit bitcoin, make profit and withdraw your bitcoin + the profit out with ease.
although it is risky because yobit is shady but most other exchanges (even the big ones) are shady these days so it is not that bad. but it is best to choose others if you can.

They did now closed the participation of their campaign and yet it's still active here in forum most of their participants now are hero members I guess they're still paying and I don't know if they have plans of giving some spots or re-opening their thread and the applications in the future.

I know many are complaining about their support since those complains are just for their shit coins but honestly, I'm trading some of my main alt coins such as ETH and LTC there. I don't have any problems with it but what I only don't like there is they aren't showing the TXID and has some delays when you deposited with them so at first thought you think that you've been scammed by them.

Yobit is still around and people are still using it. there is volume coming out of there anyways. and I believe with bittrex closing down a lot of accounts there have been a lot of users who looked for alternatives and some of them may even switch to Yobit and many other exchanges even for testing to see which one is good.

I have used them and from time to time I use their services. it is bad and there is no proper support but it is working anyways. it is a risk I take for profit. for example I dumped some part of my bitcoin gold there. and it was easy and smooth, surprisingly!

Yobit where you can enlist your coin for a short time and for a dump & bump a quick money indeed. Where you can be rich as soon as possible, ripping the coins until they're dead. I used to trade at yobit but not anymore because of some controversial and accusations to them. Thanks I bumped this thread, I'll check my account later if some of my dead coins are alive.

YoBit has always been one of the biggest exchanges that have been there but the owners are very greedy, they want to collect as much as possible of their money, and this is why they are giving a list of discordant coins just to receive some bitcoin for free for their list, and that is why there are some coins pumps and dumps, and nothing can stop this. And they stop people to withdraw their funds, maybe this is the main reason why people do not use YoBit anymore
