I remember when I started on here, YoBit was a big company at the time - still as shitty as before with its support and the amount of shitcoins on it but it was still big with a MASSIVE SIGNATURE campaign presence on here (even if they were a spammy sig campaign, kinda matched the company)

Does anyone know if they're still around and trading? And if so, if they're doing good as an trading network these days.

I don't know man, but I still seeing someone carrying Yobit as signature so I'm assuming that they are still around, or maybe the campaigner didn't removed his signature because he still loves and do trading with Yobit.

I think they are still alive and doing so-so today. There was a lot of scam accusations and it is still on-going. I don't know though how they still survived from all those, maybe trading platforms really do get huge profit that's why they are still up and running up to this time. But I already stayed away from Yobit because of their shitty support and withdrawal issues.

Many people evaluate high yobit though it contains a lot of shitcoin and so do I. I appreciate that many shitcoins can make you incredibly rich even though it has many risks you can not predict.

Some of the comments in the thread are wrong. Yobit was never one of the biggest exchanges. Their daily trading volume never stayed with the top 10 exchanges consistently.

Maybe it gave off that impression because they were aggressively marketing it last year. I remember their signature campaign used to have a lot of participants.

There is a lot of scam report on yobit exchange and yet you still see a lot of good project tradingthere. Is there something fishy about those report? The exchange is still operating and it has not been shot down yet. Many reported scam may not be true after all.

Yobit exchange is full of controversies. In spite of this many big project are trading daily in yobit. Is yobit liquid? Yes is yobit insolvent? No. is yobit scammy? I don't know. But  it is a common knowledge not to keep your coin on any exchange! Goodluck!

Yobit still remains to be a highly functional exchange platform. In fact, there are still several big projects that are involved with Yobit. I cannot say much about whether it is indeed scammy or not because ever since I joined cryptocurrency, trading in particular, I never used Yobit, not even once. I used and felt comfortable so far with Bittrex, Poloniex, Cryptopia, HitBTC, and Bitfinex. But my major choice is Bittrex of course.

yobit is one of the biggest and the best exchanges out there and so far im not experiencing any problems while trading my coins on thier platform. though i see some users are still having an inconvinience using thier site but overall i can say that yobit is not totally bad and its still much better compared to some real crappy exchanges like etherdelta , which is i think sucks so much.

Weren't they the same exchange that pulled off a gimmick by giving their users BTG even before the actual fork happened? These little tricks of theirs are the only things keeping them in contention as an exchange. Probably going to use it again before the Segwit2x fork as I would be maximizing my profit when they list B2X before the fork and it becomes easy dumping ground.

YoBit still considered one from the biggest exchangers online for crypto currencies and tokens lastly. It is used a bit less than before because there are actually a lot of similar exchanges with lowest fees and better features. Also they have a serious problem with their slow support.

Yeah, only the newbie ones are using Yobit because it is one of the most easy and friendly to use and to trade very easily, i have to admit that i used YoBit on the past when i was just starting at trading.
And i remember that i spent more than 0.01 bitcoins on their Dice (bitcoin was below $500 anyway) but it was a good experience, now it is a shitty exchange who is full of bugs, nobody diserves to waste their time in this platform, because it is a garbage at the moment.

I also experienced similar things but with different amounts
at that time I might have to spend 0.1 or even more on the dice games they serve.
and it is these things that teach us and can lead us to a real success
experience that teaches us about anything

Yobit is for beginners or for few people with small investments. It is not advisable to trade in yobit for more than 0.1btc in a single transaction or your sell order will left the train. You need to be very active and watch your position to get profit or found your self getting dumped.

Good to know this. I observed also that there are a lot of altcoins that are just sitting there with almost no value at all.

So I'm wondering, maybe they were just pump and dump coins until the dev disappeared from the trading. But you can see so much altcoins over there that you can't even find in another exchanges. But I think, many individuals here are still using yobit for the purpose of buying and selling cheap altcoins but not necessarily investing large amount of money.

YoBit has always been one of the biggest exchanges that has been created, but the owners are so greedy, they want to raise as much money as they can, and this is why they are listing shitty coins only to receive some bitcoins for free in order to list them, and that is why there are some pump and dump coins, and nobody can stop this. And they are stopping people to withdraw their funds, probably this is the main reason of why people are not using YoBit anymore, it is a shady exchange.

I left it almost a year ago and I'm very happy in other exchange platforms. Yobit was really problematic and all the garbage things were listed in there. I feared to lose my bitcoins there. They also do lending which is very dangerous. I simply stay away.
