I'm using Bitmessage. Here's my address:
BM-2cU8bMdoiVibCFoJwjQ6TbAuDgNEaEYKbn

I hope it will be available for Android soon.

In the meantime, I use TextSecure there.

You should try out Threema for Android. It's pay-to-use, but it's very secure and they accept Bitcoin Smiley

No. I hate use things while they are in beta.

Especially if it connected with bitcoins because you know... i want to feel myself secured.

Every bitcoin-qt release so far was a beta. Tongue

I don't think that this is danger for you security. But if you will use apps while they are in beta you will support devs. So do it, man

They are doing this with the torrent network. Much better.

In what way is it much better? Is it the fact of a huge network already in place, or more?

Edit: Eid did you receive my message?

Nope Sad

eid, I have been able to communicate all right with you (and also with my other contacts). I only had problems to send messages to jaberwoc and to Parazyd ("Sending public key request" or "Waiting for their encryption key" errors). It seems that they might be doing something wrong...

I had problems with both of those too. Jaberwock seems to have fixed his now though as all my tests just went through.

eid I received your message and from you raganius. thanks

very cool! ^^

Try sending me some test message.

BM-2cTxwdqn7xKkidwUX9BEvGKQJ4GDQuFJrG

I've just sent you a test message. Sorry I wasn't here before to help you.

I hope it works well for you.

Also, try asking for help here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/announce-bitmessage-p2p-messaging-system-based-partially-on-bitcoin-128230

p.s. my BM address is now in my profile. Shame I can't change my vote  Smiley

After generating the address it is ready to accept messages rightaway? Or do I need to enable it? It is instant? I didn't receive any message yet.

Yes, the problem is my end. It's stuck on "sending public key request" for some reason. I'll try again.

eidt: now they both say "waiting for their encryption key".
