Yup PoS coins are like bubbles (or ponzis) you can make money providing you enter and exit at the correct times. And the money you make is directly related to the money someone else is losing. I would say that sort of unethical approach to taking profit is NOT sustainable. If it hurts an individual it hurts the whole community.

There must be be sustainable investments in the btc world (I'm watching coinsilium right now) but they are not listing in these boards. Bitcointalk securities reputation is so bad no self respecting company would even bother.

Coinsilium? Never heard of those. Do they allow you to pick your own portfolio or they act as hedge fund? Since you ve been watching them, could you pls elaborate a bit?

Bitcointalk securities reputation is so bad no self respecting company would even bother.

99% of the blame for that falls on the people who invested in things like Goat's fictional rice patty field or usagi's endless ponzi funds.  It got to the point where issuers weren't even listing where their revenue was going to come from.  They just claimed a return and people piled in.

I do wish there were more good options so that sites tracking these securities would pop up, more investment was directed at worthy targets, and maybe even analysts popping up to cover them.  Right now, you are right, there is very little investment happening here due to the endless scam attempts and lack of BTC by it's remaining users.  It is a shame, because I think that this type of micro-security and Bitcoin is a perfect match with all sorts of potential to build some really great stuff.  Oh well...

Diamond is not an investment for most of us. When you buy it, it is very expensive. When you sell it, you get very little back. It is much worse than gold, which has a price tag.

? What kind of post is this?

I can only suppose you re posting BS to get your post count up so you get paid from that gambling service. Pls do no do that anymore or I will report you to you sig provider about posting junk and unrelated low quality posts. I have nothing against you discussing or even criticizing DMD or anything else but it s obvious you know nothing about DMD and you have never been DMD holder.

Other then DMD, has anyone considered or analyzed FLYcoin, I really like how things develop there.

On the note about DMD, what makes it special? I saw the charts earlier showing high gains, but those are easily manipulated. A big question is WHY is it increasing? That's key to knowing if it's a good investment/sustainable.

DMD s an old coin, over 2 years old, been there almost from PoS beginning. Nice community, people who understand crypto. For the rest, you better go check their thread cause this thread s not about DMD. It s about other options.

Probably invest in a good trading bot, set it up in a VPS then master how to profit from trades. Light it up to do ping-pong trades 24/7. That is one sustainable investment.

Have you actually managed to do that? Cause most of my trades ve generated very limited success, this is why I have suggested less volatile investments.

I'll give you a hint: if it were stable and secure, every investor in the world would already be doing it.

Once every investors starts doing it, it will not be profitable anymore, right?

It s always about finding niches, this is what this entire thread is about.

I don't get involved in giving others advice on investments. I'm not your . I'm not a registered Fiduciary advisor. I'm not your stock broker.

Do your own due diligence. You'll find that for every 100 businesses on here, MAYBE one has a chance to make a profit.

I assure you, Friend, I haven't mistaken you for a 'financial advisor,' a 'registered Fiduciary advisor,' or (and this I wish to impress upon you with all the force of which I am capable), surely not for my stock broker. You worried for naught Smiley

I but begged you to further regale us with your wonderful stories of profitable bitcoin-denominated investments.

Take a look at PoS coins. Most of them are junk but there are a few which re quite interesting. Staking is a new form of crypto mining which does not require chips, electricity or anything other then investment.

The issue is most PoS coins are just that: a PoS. There are really only a couple that bring something useful other than being a new coin.

I only invest as a silent investor, and only for equity. The majority of my deals are done privately and aren't things listed on the forums or on any BTC-related stock exchanges. I've only found a COUPLE of legit. opportunities here on the forums. The vast majority are scams.

Every investment I've made using BTC has ended up profitable.

Care to share? Are you sure you mean 'invested' and not 'won some change at a dice dite' (since you mostly post in the gambling section)?

And if you put money in a casino's bankroll, you aren't investing: you're gambling. Two different things. An investment would mean you're buying part of the site. Rather than just getting a cut of profits from your input in a bankroll, you'd own equity.

Every "investment" that I have made using BTC has ended up being a sham.

Every single one.

Sucks for you. Every investment I've made using BTC has ended up profitable.

Apparently you're not a knowledgeable investor and should NOT be investing.

That tell a lot more about you then BTC. Almost all of mine are bringing profits or at least I expect them to bring me into green in the end.
