It is sad that it happens, but now I have decided to never return to this subject ever, Your attitude to the forum is very arrogant, I think this forum is best left to those who have surpasses the feeling of self-importance. Instead of behaving correctly, you are dominated by the animal instincts of the desire to dominate, as if we are in the animal Kingdom. Yes we all are born animals, but not all they remain.

Today's my birthday, maybe someone from the forum administrator to give me a present and to answer why I was banned? once again I will repeat - start investigate details. Coz plagiarism - I never was engaged, and charges aren't proved, once again it is my message. I posted it on Facebook on the project page. And the main point of the message is to show how proud I am of the team that won the chess tournament. It doesn't even smell like plagiarism.

Now the message on reddit is completely changed and my nickname is listed there. I explained the situation as it is, the point is not even that this is my message, but the fact that the message on the reddit was published later. No plagiarism can be, please remove the unfounded allegations of plagiarism.
If that were true... why is the datetime stamp on the reddit article BEFORE the datetime stamp on the forum post? Huh Last time I checked... 28th April comes before 29th April... so, if "the message on reddit was published later", how is it that the Reddit post came some 7 1/2 hours before your forum post? Huh

For the record... both datetime stamps are shown in NZST:

The fact that you've somehow managed to convince the "Miniapps" user to go and edit their old Reddit post to supposedly say it was "inspired" by your Bitcointalk post and then claim your post came first is pretty deceitful, especially when the timestamps prove otherwise. I'd guess it was done out of desperation at trying to avoid a permanent ban. Undecided

However, with all that said... I still agree with DireWolfM14:
I'm pretty touchy about plagiarism, and not likely to cut anyone any slack for padding his post count and spamming the forum by copying the work of others, but if this is why gefander was banned it seems kind of petty.  It's obvious he copied some text and failed to provide a source, but he sort of half-assed announced that's what he was doing.

I wound't call gefander a great contributor to the forum, and it's unlikely he'll have this ban lifted due to his contributions.  However, if this turns out to be an isolated circumstance (as it appears) I would rather see some leniency in this case.
I would agree that it was fairly obvious that gefander just did copy/paste and forgot the "quote" tags. A short temp+sig ban is probably warranted in this case.
I don't see the time, only the number of months. So I'm just counting down the specified number of months. Yes, now I see the date and time. Yeah, I edited the post to Reddit because it's my post. There is no despair, but there is a wounded sense of justice that motivates me to write here.

Friends I don't need anyone's condescension. If I were guilty I would silently would take a well-deserved ban. But I am not guilty of plagiarism, this is my post. And now all fixed, this post there is only on this forum. No plagiarism from me.

Check again the message on Reddit - it has now changed and  nicknamed gefander. https://i.ibb.co/pd503jx/apeal.jpg
So it is also your post on reddit? Or someone copied your post from BTT and posted on reddit, what is your claim on this and make it clear.Just curious to know what will happen if the ban was given wrongly.

@Kavelj22
It does make sense to have stricter rules in place for altcoin signature campaigns. I say altcoin because the bitcoin campaigns already have strict rules and trustworthy managers check the posting history of those who apply and many users get rejected from participating. The limit is also 10,20 or maybe 30 participants. In such campaigns the BM can focus much more on the quality of the content that is being written.

But for most of the altcoin campaigns, there is no control like that. They accept 100s or even 1000s of participants (anyone who applies and is not red-trusted) and the bounty managers have no time or are willing to go through every single post. Maybe there should be a limit to the number of participants that can join a particular campaign set by the Forum.

Renting signature space in bounty campaigns may be seen as the main factor pushing users to plagiarize contents of others, just for their weekly quota.
This results in forced conversation and low quality posts and plagiarism, simply because many members have to meet a required post count in a certain period.

I don't understand how that is our problem to solve, through anything other than banning these malicious/desperate users willing to plagiarize and steal content in order to financially enrich themselves.

Nobody is forcing them into these campaigns. Nobody is forcing them to plagiarize. You are blaming the victim in this scenario, similarly to blaming the clothing of a rape victim.

English is not my first language, am always having problems to express in a clear way what i want to say. I mean by "Renting signature space in bounty campaigns" is that the plagiarism issue is related to the way signature campaigns work currently [content stealers + lazy managers], not because users have signatures and the forum allows bounty campaigns. Plagiarism is made by personal choice and not recommended by the parameters/rules of the forum. I said it's a factor. Am not blaiming the forum about offering opprtunities for users.
Although, in my opinion it falls under BMs responsabilities. And the forum doesn't enforce any set of rules for campaign starters and bounty managers to control the quality of the posts of the participants; this is why it's a problem.

We offer opportunities here for genuinely interested members that contribute something to the community to earn money in various ways; once you begin to abuse these methods it is not the fault of the forum for providing a market/medium.
Totally agree with this point.
What we need to enjoy the opportunities without let polluting the forum by plagiars and spammers is: Stricter control/set of rules for campaign starters and bounty managers.

no its not plagiarism - easy to see he make mistake coz april come before may or june

i am sure that can't any plagiarism from me no was - sometimes i copypaste my own messages from my twitter or facebook accounts or from my blog on steemit - but plagiarism never been from me. i am true free writer and never discreditation my person with plagiarism this what know very well.

I got that, but you should make a habit to put the disclaimer that you have originally posted this work somewhere else also. I guess you should be un banned in this forum but what about reddit banning you now for plagiarism?

Even,if it is your own work, you need to put a disclaimer that it is published before on another platform if you are doing Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V.

@ OP, I know that you learn the bitcoin forum rules but you did not apply it. See how other members above posted your plagiarize post and maybe there are still lot of post you have been copying and pasting. Anyway, good thing that you have made an appeal now that it is cleared to you how you get banned then I am advising you to stop raising arguments since the violation is clearly bright as the blue sky.
