OP i think you have got your answer already. There is no chance to beleive it that bitcointalk authority ban account without proper reason. Do you need more legal reason? Forum need them who got the ability to write from their own, not them who steal it from others.

Nowadays plagiarism has been an concerning issue. Forum authority is enough strict with this matter i think. If this kind of actions continue against plagiarism than we can expect prevention in future.

Renting signature space in bounty campaigns may be seen as the main factor pushing users to plagiarize contents of others, just for their weekly quota.
This results in forced conversation and low quality posts and plagiarism, simply because many members have to meet a required post count in a certain period.

I don't understand how that is our problem to solve, through anything other than banning these malicious/desperate users willing to plagiarize and steal content in order to financially enrich themselves.

Nobody is forcing them into these campaigns. Nobody is forcing them to plagiarize. You are blaming the victim in this scenario, similarly to blaming the clothing of a rape victim. We offer opportunities here for genuinely interested members that contribute something to the community to earn money in various ways; once you begin to abuse these methods it is not the fault of the forum for providing a market/medium.

Plagiarism has become an extremely rampant problem within our community and therefore we do not take it lightly.

I think is the only one. But this doesn't mean that killing signatures will make the forum better, in my opinion. It may very likely make it worse. An example is the Brazilian section. For a long time, we had an exclusive campaign for the portuguese section of the forum. The section remained alive and with a reasonable number of topics. Any doubt always had someone to answer. The campaign ended a little while ago and after that and we currently, have almost no topics or posts since no campaign accepts posts from that section.

If you've been banned for plagiarism and there are multiple posts that are in question then it is unlikely that your ban-appeal has any merit for approval. Your opinion is your opinion, but those aren't the standards that our community operates by.

The first example Xal0lex gives is probably enough,

It is, probably, but it would be quite harsh in my opinion if that was the reason for the permaban. The beginning of the text implied that it was gotten from a social media platform. Yes there is no source linked, which is wrong.

The second option would also be harsh, one could read or even hear that quote from anywhere and it sticks.

I'm not sure which was the exact post you were reported and banned for.

The first example Xal0lex gives is probably enough, as you seem to be following that project "very encouraging information that the guys brought victory!" but you forgot to share the source of the information, which of course should not serve as an excuse.

The second example with verbs such as look, smell, feel, sound etc I would probably skip and not report such. Imagine how many ducks we have to ban because they walk and quack the same.  Tongue

Hi all, give me your time please !
I was banned here without legal reason.
I dont write here around 2 months, i'am just reading forum and now was very surprised to get ban.

I know forum rules very well and never broken this rules. but yesterday when i open forum i saw - ban with reason: spam or plagiarism. Nothing like this in my account  - you can check all my messages here https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/gefander-1036966 .

I hope for justice & impartiality.

updated

Check again the message on Reddit - it has now changed and  nicknamed gefander. https://i.ibb.co/pd503jx/apeal.jpg

maybe someone from the forum administrator to give me a present and to answer why I was banned? once again I will repeat - start investigate details. Coz plagiarism - I never was engaged, and charges aren't proved, once again it is my message. I posted it on Facebook on the project page. And the main point of the message is to show how proud I am of the team that won the chess tournament. It doesn't even smell like plagiarism.
