I try to avoid the forum politics and any disputes but as you said some guys are after indian members for no reason hope they realize there is no border when it comes to BTC.

Reddit has become a hub for crypto users from India, and the same is true for X.com. However, it can be challenging for the Indian community to participate in these forums, especially since they might be asked to pay an evil fee in Bitcoin. While both Reddit and X are free to use, most Indians on these platforms are not interested in Bitcoin but in investing in coins that can yield short-term gains. I understand that much effort is being put into encouraging them to join the forum, but many may have attempted to do so and changed their minds upon encountering the fee in the registration process.

2. Active users (atleast 10 post) : Decreased from 22 to 20

3 Merits shared : Decreased from 1079 to 464.

I thought it's the same monthly reports and was shocked to see such high merits but then found out it's a yearly review post.
The merits shared have decreased by more than 50% which is truly a bad sign but that's self explanatory due to the lack of merit source.
All we can do is keep trying and with the recent positive news on crypto for India I think we can expect an increase of the above numbers in this year hopefully.

I knew it as we do not have a dedicated merit source which I agree with because in 2023 we had someone. I have discussed with another merit source applicant wherein he confirmed that Theymos is no longer interested in making a new merit source. What I have understood is that we have to live in the same manner as we were last year.

I know I am the best there is nothing that can stop me from coming on the top, what I am doing is from 2018, I saw the shitty fight here at that time. I still feel that these fights were between Bangladeshi/South Indians and a few Indians, but we cannot escape the truth which was creating havoc/disparity here and destroying the activity of the local board.

There are a few Bangladeshi who are after me after I removed a neutral tag from an alleged Nigerian member as I had added a neutral tag on his profile. As the tag was an error from me which I later realized took me a week, I responded to the tag when the user created a topic about me being biased on his thread.

As per my understanding, we need to be very sure about every active user or new user here as I feel a lot of new users are here because we as a community are showering merits to anyone who creates a new topic or write a good reply.

Thanks to every one of you guys for being active here. Despite there's a merit, circulation plummeted, still we managed to maintain the number of posts into a consistent range. I am sure the activity will go up if we have a dedicated merit source and these stats may helpful to notice for theymos if he ever gave attention to the merit source application posted.

What we need to do is, keep the traffic coming with new and innovative threads along with educated replies to make this a better place.

Irony is number of drama recently arises due to account farms from our neighboring nations and all of them been active participants of one or many campaigns. Roll Eyes

I think you already have plenty of merits received in last 120 days and usually, campaigns only require 5 merits in last 120 days.
Just try to be faster than others in applying and try to maintain diversity in posting.

Yes, the new members are popping and I am also trying to merit them with my little sMerits I have, but they might lack the appreciation they needed so they just ghost instead of trying to continue to be active.

I never considered it as a race but just posted what was necessary but yeah, I'll surely try to be more active now.
This thread actually lets me know how much more efforts I should put to keep the Indian board alive.

Please don't worry as you have been an incredible active user of the local board. I saw now atopic from icopress which is about a new signature campaign. I think you should apply and wait for the response from him next week. I don't guarantee anything here, since you are one of the most active member of the local board you should get a position in that campaign.But, if you are an alt he might ignore as he is good in finding them.

I am guessing @amishmanish is still being a merit source and he shared some merits last month is the clear reason why we have bump in the merits column and if he is continue to be active we might have a lot better traffic in our local board in this 2025.

Merit share did increase but we did not witness the activities increasing on the local board. I hope before this year ends we are able to recover the activity back. I participate when I can in the activities of our board, it is difficult to do a lot but I am very happy to be involved to also contribute, as you say, in the new year to be present here and make it grow, we know that merits in this board are difficult to take and therefore many of us move to other shores

Thanks again for updating the stats about our local board with the local board. The problem is with merit and I know we need a merit source for our local board. The problem is that the admin is not interested in awarding merit source currently. I heard it from a credible and reputed member of our forum.

That being said I would like to see members active in the forum to use threads of global merit sources to get sMerits. I know we Indians have an ego of not begging whereas some of our neighbours are always interested or indulge in that kind of habit Grin

Unless thing change we have to be active and find sMerits which can help our board to strive up against all odds. If we can do that then I will personally take the responsibility to connect with the admin and demand a local merit source.
