I tested it, here's the view of how it looks.
But I feel those icons making the texts smaller so I am just sticking with texts alone but anyone is having free signature space wear it and everyone keep bumping the thread until it's approved from time to time.
I thought those icons will give more attention, as you have already tested the signature it is okay if anyone wants to omit them and use only plain text. Another option is to increase the text size. I will work on various other ways to make the signature more attractive and test them. If it looks good then I will add those codes on here.

I partly agree with about keep posting part, but we won't be seeing any increase in the merits unless we have a dedicated merit source cause who are the one who generate 'x' amount of smerits while normal users have to earn 2 merits to have 1 smerits and if we don't have any one merit the previous posts there won't be any smerits left to spent.
I know getting merited feels good but that shouldn't be the sole reason for making posts.
Merits are just a part of it and it will just help you to achieve higher ranks but nothing is stopping you to make good quality posts right now.
If you really make good quality posts, your post will definitely get merits sooner or later.
Even if our post is not merited then also we should be feeling good as it would be helping some or the other person.
Here's the chart I made comparing the stats of each month, and we can see the clear reason why we need merit source based on the last 3 months.

I somehow fail to understand why an Indian will be against an Indian. A dead account gets activated and suddenly starts spamming on an important thread. A few days, week back another dead account was spamming every thread that was created for the betterment of the Indian community.
Again a dead soul has now appeared claiming something that cannot be substantiated without proof. Please provide concrete evidence to support your reply. By the way by dead account/soul, I meant an alt account of someone prominent, the next reply from you wouldn't surprise me as I know what you will be asking.
@TheUltraElite please use the May local board activities for your Merit Source application as it clearly explains why you need to get that position. @Bitcoin Smith, please update this thread with the latest update as it will help our Merit Source applicant to justify more why he should be a merit source and it will boost his application.

The last update on our local board activity was in April. This is not happening as there is a delay by @Rikafip.
I am not sure what the problem is as he was very active in the earlier days when he started posting about the local board. I guess this is becoming quite normal with the timing of posting. It's time for me to bump his thread, asking him to come up with a deadline.

Thanks for posting the thread here otherwise I wouldn't have noticed it since I don't visit meta much (rarely once or twice a month).
Even I had been thinking that @TheUltraElite should be the right person to apply for merit source position as he's not only a high ranked member but also posses the right knowledge whether it be technical or non-technical.
He has been here for a long time now and I think he would be able to decide well which posts to merit.
I will be adding a supporting comment on the merit source thread too.
Let's hope that he gets the position soon and we see a positive outcome of this.

We are hitting rock bottom again in terms of activity but don't lose your hope guys since TheUltraElite applied for merit source and if are not aware I urge you to show our support in his thread : Application for Merit Source - TheUltraElite, it may take a while but until that we need to keep the activity going as well as maintaining the quality then only we can show that we deserve a dedicated merit source.
If someone does apply then it would take ages to get approved.
If the board has already a merit source and they want to look add one more then yes, or if they don't really have a Local board then getting one took ages than getting a merit source of them but here it's not really the same if someone considered as recognized member they might be included in the next month itself.It is better if anyone is inclined in getting merits to contact the global merit source and ask them to review post. I read on Meta someone was recently added in as merit source this month so there is high chance that if someone who were long here and high ranked, probably legendary apply then theymos might consider for sure.
@TheUltraElite you have been in the forum for about 8 years now. You have seen the good, the bad and the worst of the forum. You are aware of forum policies more than anyone here is aware of. I think you will be the right person to apply for merit source for the local board. I don't think anyone has will oppose your application.
I do try to give back what merits I earn to this section of the forum. However getting merits in from the global sections everyday is tough and not having a merit source dedicated to the section sucks even hard.
Merits only awarded in certain boards on global section and possibly between the names that everyone is familiar with.Currently, there is no merit source for Indian board, and I have been repeating on multiple threads someone who is reputed, legendary and been here longer can apply for the position. As I see you can be one of that contender, so if you are interested feel free to drop the application on Meta and I am sure everyone here will be supporting it.
