Many of the traders didn't really learn from a mentor but keep trying to learn to trade by learning charts and indicators. There are pages on the internet about it, specially in the forex websites and forums. Tradingview I guess will always be a good platform to learn the charts since available without the need of installation.
The process in trading cryptocurrency is quite similar to that of forex. There’s nothing wrong with having a professional teach you about trading, as long as you’re sure that they are good at it and they have shown you evidence to prove that they are good at it, then you can go ahead and learn from them.

I believe that by now you know you might know about cryptocurrency and most of the things about it, it’s already something you can learn online, except for trading which is quite difficult for some people to comprehend. So, if you’re one of those you can then look for a professional to teach you with practical. I once did that when I was trading forex, I paid someone and he helped me learn everything I need to know about forex trading.

Hey. Can you tell the beginner if there are any professional advisers who can teach you how to trade in practice? Crypto courses and general informative articles are great, but I'm having in mind something with more practice included. Does it make sense to look for them and how much scam there might be?

No one can scam you if you do not pay them. There are many telegram and WhatsApp group where you can get free knowledge and signals and almost all of them have premium groups where they charge you monthly payment to give premium signals. I will advise you to join free groups and learn how and what signals they give. But do not join any premium group. Just get knowledge from them and try to analyze the signals. Soon you will be able to understand trading yourself.

Learning is good thing so if you got the chances to find someone who is doing the trading better than others you can ask them for a lesson by paying a fee or not it depends on the user. But you can learn that by yourself as well but it needs more time and experience to realize what kind of trading will suits you better.

Of course, that's the right step if you want to trade Crypto. Like me when I was just learning trading, I tried to learn from professional traders. We need an advisor when starting something new in our lives. Moreover, the trading world is very difficult if you do without knowledge.

As a beginner, that is important.

It is better for someone to walk you through it but always remember that you should not be so dependent on those people. It is not that I am saying they are a scam, but in the long term, you should be able to do invest and trade on your own. You said that you are reading articles, maybe books, keep on reading them since you will not always need their help, you have yourself.

I am not a fan of that idea now, nor in the future.
Crypto advisers can give you information but will only make you focus on their information, it's better if you are the one making moves to be resourceful to educate yourself so you can rely on your self and you will be independent going forward.

The kind of information you get is necessary as that shape up your future, so if you pay for someone that is called an "expert" that does not guarantee you'll be successful, just use that money to test your capability in trading or investing and grow from their.

Slowly you will grow and always start with a small amount of money until you are convince you are willing to risk a decent amount.

Its up to you if you really want to hire a professional advisers just to teach you, but in IMO its not a wise idea because nowadays there are many resources already if you really want to learn trading. Read articles or watch videos explaining how to trade effectively, then try trading simulator, there are sites where you can create a demo account to have a better understanding on how to trade. Just be patient because only you can help yourself to become a pro trader.

Just to throw in with what others have said: do not ever buy a course that claims to teach you how to trade. At worst, they are picked information that's already on Google.
If you want to be an expert in cryptocurrency trading as a beginner, you need to constantly practice. But at first, you need to start demo trading. Or better still learn to trade with cheap shitcoins.

I believe most of the traders here are just self educating themselves.
We are not in the old era OP, there's a lot of information that you can access online for free, so take advantage on that liberty.

google and youtube, they are commonly the tools we can use to educate ourselves.

Exactly. I agree with you. The truth is that, majority of those so called "crypto experts" are not really what we think they are. Most of them were just lucky to have invested in bitcoin when it was cheap. Nothing more. Most of them can't tell their left from right when it comes to trading. Well, crypto experts/advisers aside, the best OP and other beginners can do for themselves is to invest in themselves. It is the only investment that would yield impressive results in the long run. The best traders in the industry today spent time learning and practicing their trading skills/developed strategies and trading systems abd today, they're on top of the food chain.

Here are 2 "FREE" resources that I recommend:

1. https://www.babypips.com/learn/forex – a free educational resource classified into various classes and categories. It is structured for all levels including beginners.  The first few courses about an introduction and history to forex market are optional. You can skip the first few courses and move on to the fun stuffs. Technical analysis. Learn and practice.

2. YouTube – Search for technical analysis videos. Learn and practice. You can get a free demo account and practice what you learn.

Not really worth.

You know about suppowman a crypto youtube who sometimes shiling or sugestion some coin to his subscriber/follower, he selling his book about crypto for a newbie but the books not really worth to buy some other youtube already see the book and tell us its just a basic book about crypto/ta. Its cost 10$, he got more than a thousand even million dolars just because of that. So most of crypto adviser for me only thinking about themself, the good crypto adviser you can follow someone who teaching his follower to learn a TA without make them paid to him.

thats not thier problem if the info from the book were already leaked out because some people already have  that book before and they only re upload it for free  . it also depend on the advisor if you think he is legit and pro , you should trust him to teach you anything that you need to learn but not all are good advisors so you need to avoid them if your not sure  .  there are free but free isnt as good as the paid ones  .  why will they teach you in a good way if they cant get something in return  . for what  ?

For what? They will get testimony/feedback that later on they can use once they initiate to have a paid membership to their created groups and I see a lot of coaches or advisor doing that.

We are holding you back not to use any crypto adviser/s for the reason that it won't make you succeed but it will only just eaten up your money. Trading could be easy to learn you are eager to do so and that is the thing that professional and successful trader did. In fact, there are a lot of trading sources that can help us to learn in trading and all we need to do is make it in a real scenario. Experience is very important and that will also be helping us to enhance our knowledge. Don't get afraid of committing mistakes cause that it will help you also to make things right in the future.

Actually trading coaches is helpful in some other way if you truly listen on what discussion they discuss to their students their are certain strategies has been tackle and for sure it helps if you want to learn new things but maybe the one you encounter is just a self proclaim adviser and doesn't know what they are doing that's why they failed your expectation to learn something.

Again, real professional traders are too busy to conduct these seminars or self-tutorial unless there's a chance to see them in person and ask for a certain service. Just imagine the number of request they will receive if there's such service.

In case you see such service of a "professional" advisers on any platform and doing a serious effort of promoting their service, mostly they are a scam. On the other hand, there are casual traders providing regular tips and chart reading analysis. Following the analysis of a certain trader is not wrong as long as you are not putting money for such service. Well as for their reason, they work for that knowledge that's why there's a subscription fee but come on, why pay for something that you can learn by yourself.

Don't rush and spend time learning on it. Need some focus and eagerness that you want to learn.

Did you know that professional traders start also from scratch? Work for it.

This forum is a great place to learn about crypto trading. No matter which level from you want to start people here will always help you. But if you trying to reach specific person to learn about trading that would very much possible to get scammed yourself. If you love your asset then don't search any mentor here or anywhere for your learn.

Give some time for learn how crypto trading works, Follow some good articles or videos, ask in this forum (in right place) what are you want know about trading, then practically start trading in trustworthy exchange. There is know doubt you will be fail in first place but after couple of months with your skill you'll make money from trade for sure. The more experience you earn will create more success.

Do not bother, they are going to charge a fortune for something you could learn in a 10 dollar book, at the beginning when you are a newbie you need to keep your capital and spending your money in expensive courses is not my idea of using your money effectively.

Find a way to get that same knowledge for a fraction of the cost, and books are an excellent resource, you do not even have to buy books, you could go to your nearest library and they most likely will have a good selection of books and strategies about how to profit from the markets.

Replies like the one @mikeywith gave as the first one leave little more to be covered in terms of the opinion on crypto advisers. There are a lot of them giving signals on twitter and other social media too. What is unique to crypto trading though is that you have to first decide your end goal. Do you want to increase your holding in terms of BTC or just get more fiat. You also need to decide that if you want to continue trading on the less secure platforms where your money maybe hacked at anytime or would you consider keeping funds safe on your own computer.

There is a lot of things to decide rather than just learning to trade. As far as experience is concerned you can read from experience of other people on the forum. @JetCash had multiple topics where he talked about his personal experiences with trading on exchanges.
There is a website called Niffler.co that claims to teach you trading with experience of fellow traders. Not sure how good it is but maybe you could look at it and share your experience if you are so inclined.

I started trading a short while ago and I have been using Niffler.co in collaboration with online learning, I have found it a very useful resource, in addition to the practical learning aspect, there is a network of traders using the platform that you can learn from and who are more than happy to engage with other users. I used it for a few weeks before setting up a live trading account with OspreyFx and I am still using it on a daily basis I would definitely recommend it

Follow no advisers but always keep eyes on what are the common factors that most of the advisers and successful traders do.

I can confirm you that trading cannot be taught to anyone but it comes from experiences, what separates smart people from ordinary people is that smart ones learn from their mistakes as well as from other mistakes. Suppose you saw some guys panic selling and gave loss, you learn that you should not do it yourself, while ordinary trader would do that mistake himself and then make a note of it.

It is certain that this domain is completely full of scammers ( like 80% ), if you are a beginner then you need to stay away from their shitty projects, and remember that most of tokens are definitely trash.
Otherwise, try to learn more about Bitcoin and Blockchain in general,  read some books, and the most important thing is the practice. Probably, people will give some pessimistic advices, like, stay away from this field, it is unporfitable and bullshit, you don't need to listen  to them, Learn and read more and focus, believe in yourself, ignore the false media information.
