Instead of electric cars, use of alternate sources of energy like solar cars would affect the oil industry more and are more environment friendly ways of transportation. Affect on oil industry will affect the economy of few countries badly as they need to find alternate sources of income.

Yes, nowadays oil has more than one opponent although they all may decrease use of oil and also we cannot measure effect of one factor on oil.

With the days of increasing economy, now the price of oil has increased again. So such huge fluctuations happening often truly affects economy. So an alternate source is required which can be electricity.

But electricity is also expensive unless it came from a reliable source and cheap source just like solar panel.
And yeah that would be a good alternative source of energy if that's implemented for cars. And oil players will put their palm of their faces if that happens.

recycling the old batteries is not a new idea, but in my country which is currently not well developed, recycling the batteries and after that we experience them as a better batteries working better and in some area batteries repair is also available which work the same as new ones

It can surely affect on oil if electric cars really running on street well they lose big percentage of their income and thats great effect may ended to many people lose job and big percentage of world trade economy would be down, and iF realy happen those king oil countries will be suck and their economy will broke and alerted to be break down, and for sure government would not let it happen because they are making income with it in trades and surely they wil not let an ally in economy country will be down.

It will completely destroy the oil industry if cars are using electric to run, remember that the oil industry is a profitable industry for the big players in the market, if they lost that it is a big investment which they lost. To prevent that from happening, they will do anything to hinder the success of fully electric conversion of cars. It might even happen that they will bribe any government officials of any countries to let their personal interest happens at all time.

I dont think so , they are not replacing fueled car they just lessen the used of it because the air is going to be so poluted that it can give people some problem with their health especially the people with asthma . They just want to save the environment and to preserve the fresh air , do you imagine how poluted the air was ? Some people or all of you will understand if they or you are in the tropical country like here in the philippines , the temperature gets hotter like you are near from the fire .

But we can say they are not good for oil but the effects they can have for oil industry is not that much.

It seems to be an accepted fact that electric cars are better in terms of pollution compared to fossil fuel cars.
If there are uses in contamination due to batteries, it is up to the government to form laws about the safe disposal.

They have some problems that we could solve on next years, electricity isn't a clean energy as anunced now a days it comes from petrol, carbon, nuclear. But if governments invest on more wind and solar farms, electricity will become more "green" energy.
