Electric car will destroy jobs, but will create others, for example i think that electric cars will need more software developers. Technology always destroy old jobs, but it creates new ones.

A lot of parts (especially for the engine) which are needed for conventional cars will get needless. This will cost a lot of jobs. Further, electric cars do not need to be repaired as often as conventional cars what cost jobs at autoshops. And it will cost jobs at petrol stations because there are no more operators needed.

If you are referring to oil or lubricants, then it will always be needed even if everyone would convert their cars into electric powered..But for sure the usage of fuel will be lessen...

Also when there is a replacement for oil as a fuel then there may be some replacements for oil consumption in lubricants.

yeah oil users not only on transportation right ? there are many other users that need the oil to fuel them. but I do not rule out the possibility if future fuel will be replaced with something else that is more environmentally friendly but for this time Oil is still urgently needed

Yup you have the point that it can help lessen the polution but others think that the important is the government because if the oil industry lose many costumers, many people removed from their work and many companies that can lose many Money so if that happens they cant pay the tax.. If they cant pay the tax the government will lose many funds for their projects.

The performance of electric cars has traditionally lagged behind ICE ones, but electric cars are catching up. At one point they were expensive and required government subsidies, but this is no longer the case.

This is very true if more people in the future decide to buy an electric car then this could be bad news for the oil industry. But the oil industry still has some time to make plenty of money and to come up with a solution so it will not hurt them as much.

Well, that's the only side effect of it, low oil price and low economy to those oil producing countries...But if you look at it in positive way, using electric car could lessen carbon and if we are using solar panels to fuel our electric car, that is renewable energy, it is good for everyone...

Yes, with that we will get a costless vehicle for our daily use and so we will not have to spend our money for the fuel and for the running of our cars, we will continue to run through the whole day.

No, it is a cause for the oil industry as oil industry has already a demand for a number of other users besides cars and other vehicles, so a burden will be lessen on the oil industry, and we know that a truck or any other heavy vehicle is unable to run on electricity so the oil will be saved for that vehicles.
