So i've just started out bitcoin and I'm trying to learn how its used and etc. I've been using faucets to get some satoshi, but it seems like an inefficient process. Is it worth the time put in to explore and earn? Thanks!
I can say it's not an efficient way for you to earn bitcoin you just spend your time for nothing, why not you try other way to earn bitcoin like do small task, being translator.

For me faucet really doesnt worth with time, you'll waste your time by doing that. Better do other ways which more worth with time. Example, join signature campaign and giveaway.

That's right, faucets are good for newbies when they are new to the bitcoin world but in long run it will surely waste your time and payouts are very low.

If you are trying to use faucets to make money, it isn't worth it. If you just want some Bitcoin to learn the process of sending Bitcoin and to experiment with it, then using faucets to get some Bitcoin is fine.
Yes as u are just a newbie to bitcoin world by collecting some sathoshis from faucets can help you to learn more about bitcoin ecosystem also faucet rotators can let you make some considerable profits in quick time !

If you are new to bitcoin, yes worth the time. With faucets you can learn more about bitcoin, how work bitcoin and how to make more bitcoin.

Yeah, indeed. faucets are helpful for you to get a grip on the idea of bitcoin, rather than an income source. Unless you have a faucet bot, which is by the way, not allowed and you'll get banned very quickly.

You can do tasks or surveys if you want real BTC rather than tiny dusts. Faucets are good for newbies, but not that good for earning.

I think faucet valuable and could generate additional money for it, if you rely on the faucet's for main income is very wrong then you will go bankrupt. some say faucet just for fun Smiley thank you

Don't only relay on faucets because you can't earn an amount that is equal to your internet and electric bills. If you want to earn money fast you need at least member account here in bitcointalk to earn up to 0.0026 per day, i think it's a lot better than faucets because i think you cannot earn that amount per day if you just doing some faucets.

In my opinion the first intention for faucets was to make lots of bitcoin transactions to speed up the mining process. nothing good can come from faucets except if you are a newbie and still  not trusting to put any cash in bitcoin, so doing faucets would benefit you though remember
not to rely on them for any income.

Exactly that, they should be used by newbies to learn about bitcoin. Thats it, earning on it is impossible.
You will earn a loooooooooooooot more money by traditional ways in same time.

Like others have rightly said. its not worth it though. But as a newbie you can still claim some free satoshi and risk them on learning the skills invovled in trading. After all if you loose, you loose nothing because it free anyway except the time spent.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I'll spend more time looking through the forums and learning up on Bitcoin. I'll  limit my faucets to the ones that give ~1500 satoshi once a day so I can have some to experiment/play around with. I'll look at the altcoin ones as well Smiley

Excellent - you can have fun trading with some alts that cost under 20 satoshis - choose ones with high volume/volatility and get a feel for trading. Or you could buy staking coins and play with staking them.

Watch out, though. It's addictive!  Cheesy

For me they aren't worth the time because I feel like I can get more from trading and signature campaign. It just depends on how much time you have to do them and whether you have other ways to earn bitcoin.

Absolutely! - faucets are about the most un-scammy thing you can find in the Crypto world!

You put in a wallet address
Maybe solve a captcha
Press a button

And you usually get paid!

What could be wrong with that?

You may research alt-crypto currencies and see if you can get more by using their faucets and then trading into BTC.

It's normal for a newbie to have a thinking of doing faucet as worth the time. Even me back in my newbie days also started first to make some bitcoin thru faucet claimings.

You will know the answer automatically once you keep on doing faucets everyday with lots of hours spend and noticed about your earnings receiving from doing such efforts.
Yeah your right i am also clamer before and excited for many faucet to claim but i learn a lot here in our forum its not worth it right now to earn..
And there's other way to earn even you are just a newbie.. altcoin is there and they are always giving a bounties easy task and earn altcoin..that you can sell it in trading site once they release it in market places.. if you are lucky that altcoin has potencial to growth in the future you can make more profit with your altcoin..

Faucet is like PTC. its a waste of time to stay in the faucet and try to earn something. I advice you to join here in a signature campaign or to offer your service into this forum, I'm sure that you'll earn BTC in really fast way.
