I think that the newcomers will still have time to prove themselves. At least now there are simply no restrictions that can prevent them.
Those newcomers would have thought that they were always late.

But when you talk about the historical moves of bitcoin, they're just going to stare at it and do nothing. Comparing the past and the future move of it has its correlation.

The holders now didn't only experience good things with the market but also have gone through a lot of bears and panics.
Those overthinker .. those newcomer bbetter to stop the overthinking ...

and if they continue to do so , they better to put th emoney in and disappear for 5 or 10 years to check later whether are they late to get in crypto back in the time or not. they might found themselves in a huge disappointment due the money that they put in was too small and start to talk the 'IF ONLY' thing.
it's never late , the ecosystem are just built and today you are taking that part.

There is no such thing as being late or early to make money. Anyone who follows the news properly and can make the right analysis can make money. As long as you can use your mind.

Those who did not buy some years ago think they would have gotten it when it was very cheap and that is the regret they all have now. These ones should just focus on what bitcoin is now and make a decent gain out of it. Let the past be and concentrate on what is happening now. Late to the party can also make more money trading bitcoin that those early to it. Just know what you are doing. Not being a pioneer investor is not a curse. Alot of those who missed bitcoin then are into it now. Maybe ten years from now we will begin to realise that those who are investing now are buying it cheap too.

I feel like I'm too late and the btc price is literally just gonna go sideways forever. Or maybe a slow gradual push up. Maybe in 20 years it will be worth half a mil.
Nope it will not happen.
The word "late" for me isn't applicable in Bitcoin or in crypto because anytime you can invest. You are just saying that because Bitcoin has increased significantly already these past few years. With regards to Bitcoin going sideways forever or a gradual push, I don't think that it will happen as well. The total market cap of crypto is very low compare to stocks that is why it is more volatile.

Will btc ever hit a million? Or hundred million?
A million Dollars? Yes probably but a hundred million dollar, maybe yes but it will take decades or even centuries and it also depends on different factors that might affect its price in the future

I kick myself so hard every night going to sleep that I didn't get in earlier. Liek I'll literally have dreams of being in 2013 when I first heard about it and buying some... T_T
Don't worry because you're not the only one. I myself is thinking the same as well but that is the advantage of an early adopter. If it will become successful and you invested early then you will gain the most profit.

I feel like I'm too late and the btc price is literally just gonna go sideways forever. Or maybe a slow gradual push up.
If you understand the concept of the cryptocurrency market is volatile, you won't let the current market momentum be a hindrance to your decision about Bitcoin investment.
For the record, if all the 21million coin is yet to be mine you're never late for the party but your knowledge about the market will also determine this.

Maybe in 20 years it will be worth half a mil.
The market is full of possibilities and when it next halving it will always generate a new ATH price and this should be enough for you to know that you're never late for the party. Meanwhile, there are some people who have joined the market before you but in the end, they will be late to the party simply because of their wrong decision.

I dont think we're gonna see anymore gains like people of the 2010s and 13s experienced. and even 2017...|
It will but not in this current market.

It's never too late if you want to take part in Bitcoin. If you are sure then join immediately it's better. The problem of lagging behind in the gold market moment is indeed very unfortunate but it does not rule out the possibility that Bitcoin will experience this event again later. It is proven that even though the Bitcoin price is currently not doing well, it is still trying to stay strong and survive. Bitcoin is really that strong so far, this can be a plus for Bitcoin so that it gains the trust of many people to join in investment, trading or trading about Bitcoin.

Well, I hope you have still invested instead of dwelling on the missed past opportunity cos I believe there is still an opportunity for even those investing now because even recently we witness more institutional investment in Bitcoin than those years you mentioned.
Most people that invested from 2010 might not be hodling till now but a few so the goal is to be able to HODL your investments even if you invest now.

"Its never too late for something", like George Eliot said once. One can invest in BTC whenever they feel like but he or she should have a good knowledge of market and must have done market making (MM) before. Investing small amounts at first will be suitable and after you got a strong hand in it you can risk big money but there is no delay means whenever you feel like buying BTC you can go for it. Many companies and startups have grown recently with the help of Bitcoin after all they know that it is the currency of next generation of the world!

I am not in crypto from its very days but read many times that people said its too late now to invest in bitcoin when it was at 100$ and 1000$. There is no certainty that current ATH is the last one and bitcoin can't cross that anymore. Imagine how would you feel if bitcoin reaches 100,000$ by current or next year. Just DYOR and invest.

I agree to this. I noticed that before, a lot of people were saying that they were too late because the price had already hit $100, but they were wrong because the price hit more. It is not too late because we really do know where the price will reach, so what is really best is to invest what you can afford to lose, but as you can see, Bitcoin has a bright future. It is just a matter of where you bought it, how long you held it, and also if you can control your emotions when the price drops.

Look back to 5 years or more ago or just even a year or two, the same feeling you've got with the rest and also me.
I agree that people who got in at 20k felt like they were late as well, people in 2018 all imagined they were too late and they missed it. Price hit back to under 4k after that, and reached to 68k, that is like 16x bigger amount if I am not wrong. That is proof enough that you are never late if you know how to invest.

Buy low and sell high, keep doing that and you will gain a lot of money .There isn't just bitcoin neither, keep doing this with like 10 coins and you should be fine. Learn the lows and the highs of coins and where it could go down and where the support is and then where the resistance is and you could basically make a good amount of money in a few years.
The lowest was $3k and people have thought that it will continue to go down and they even waited for a lower price before they buy. That's always the thing and mindset of many.
They think that the price is quite high and they'll wait for a little bit longer. And when the price rises, they'll even wait for it until it goes down. It's hard to tell what they have in their goals.

Side way as how? All you have to know is that going into bitcoin is never too late till now, why is because if we consider how it has started down from the scratch to have made it this far, then I think there are more futures ahead yet unveiled and it will do good if you also cease such opportunity starting from now.

Or maybe a slow gradual push up. Maybe in 20 years it will be worth half a mil.

Its possible, but don't sit down to watch this happening, be part of it happening, if you've been investing on liabilities and fiat then it high time to go into bitcoin.

Talking about all time high (ATH), this has happened before on the account of multiple times as you've stated and will still set another record sooner.

Will btc ever hit a million? Or hundred million?

It seems you're more of spectator than an investor but you need to be positive since you also have the records of tremendous events of the past you, i think the results have answers to this.

Liek I'll literally have dreams of being in 2013 when I first heard about it and buying some... T_T

This same thing some people would have said back then that they wish to have started since the onset of the launch in 2009, you have to understand that in digital cryptocurrency like bitcoin, no time is too late for a start.

You seem so frustrated that you missed 2013, but complaining about the past won't do you any good even if you kick yourself in the head every night. You need to know that it is never too late unless you have never started cryptocurrency activity. Hurry up to start a new step because every Bitcoin profit is time dependent and if you keep BTC in hardware from now on then you see it for 10 years later.

Why? is bitcoin is so stable that it won't reach another its ATH? no one knows really. These are some similar thoughts of the people the past 4 years, where bitcoin reach ATH at 20k then boom, just stay in 3k for several months, and then look now, it even doubled and tripled as price almost breaks the 70k barrier.

The value of Bitcoin is increasing almost every year, almost every Bullrun. I could assume that OP isn't aware of this, he did close the chance and think negatively.

I won't be supposed to look back on those years as OP mentioned as it never affects how we predict the future coz whether we like it or it now, the market won't go back. I'm certain that the Bitcoin price will be grown high many times as the journey continues and that was wrong to think we are late or we are too late. That only decline our opportunities here.

If you really want to risk, invest what you can afford to lose an see it for yourself in the next 5 years.

who knows, no one can tell whether will bitcoin reach that much.

there's really no point in regretting, you are just punishing yourself for no reason. if you want to experience what they experienced, you gotta take a risk and hodl.

My advice to you, invest what you can afford. There is no need to wallow in regrets while you can still do something now, nobody can tell you how high the price of btc will be in 2 or 20 years to come, but if you look at btc price history (which you are already familiar with) you will get the picture.
If you are not too impatient, perhaps you will benefit in the the long term.

Let's start by telling you that you were late to raise your concern OP, because every so often someone asks the question that in your spontaneity you manifest as novel.

You know how many and varied opportunities escape you daily, some will not even reach your ears, so live in the present, accommodate yourself as best you can with bitcoin, today.

It's not too late to invest in bitcoin now, you will regret it in 5 years as the value of bitcoin will continue to soar in the years to come so invest now instead of thinking that bitcoin is no longer an opportunity. We cannot compare with those who have invested since the first years of bitcoin, investing from now on we get less rewards but it will be safer than in the early days. Assuming you knew about bitcoin earlier, i think you would be as hesitant and apprehensive about investing in bitcoin as you are now.
