This is not a pyramid scheme in which those who come first will earn more. Have to think that investing in crypto is totally different, you can really tell yourself being late because of coming from a different time but the chances are still the same. Like, if you are a smart investor/trader, you can certainly earn more than those who come first. Opportunities are still there, it wasn't closed yet for the latecomers, it is indeed the market welcome everyone who comes.
[/quote]

As much as it is not a pyramid scheme and smartness has a long way to in turning out the outcomes
Lets us not dispute the fact that getting into the bitcoin space 7 years ago wouldn’t have been advantageous. Of course it would.
Myself Being a new on the crypto space I still feel I’m late.
Not like I didn’t get to hear about it earlier  but negligence which i do regret at till now. But we’re here and here we are since there’s said to be no late comer.

I feel like I'm too late and the btc price is literally just gonna go sideways forever. Or maybe a slow gradual push up. Maybe in 20 years it will be worth half a mil.

I dont think we're gonna see anymore gains like people of the 2010s and 13s experienced. and even 2017...|

Will btc ever hit a million? Or hundred million?

I kick myself so hard every night going to sleep that I didn't get in earlier. Liek I'll literally have dreams of being in 2013 when I first heard about it and buying some... T_T
If you know bitcoin well, you will never have to think whether you are too early or too late to invest. Bitcoin will always be a profitable investment because of its appreciating value, its just that you have to take the risk and be more patient from long term hodling while waiting for the best time to sell. I suggest have a positive mindset so you can start your move now and be profitable in the future.
Well said, and it is upto the users. If they think it is late to the party, and look for an opportunity then once again they're gonna delay their entry into the market. Further this will make them feel, looking upon the progress of the market. As mentioned always have a positive mindset when you make an investment, particularly into cryptocurrency. Choose the right one and invest. When you don't feel bad investing on the inflated currencies, feel comfortable investing on bitcoin and top cryptocurrencies.

it's never too late to invest, as long as you believe you can listen and can benefit from bitcoin currently in our target to earn profits regularly or quickly
Coming late into crypto shouldn't be a cause to worry about afterall there are many opportunities abound in the cryptocurrencies market, you can stalk your coins to earn some profits, you can as well embark on trading, mining and work as a programmer as well as a bounty hunter especially article writing e.t c all those jobs can provide a steady income for any crypto enthusiasts, though it's good to have been involved earlier, however that should not deter anyone that is willing to be involved in cryptocurrencies.

^ Definitely right, BTC adoption has been continued day by day, and for sure the demand was always been increased and as the concept of determining the price was depends on the demand and supply which means more in demand the price becomes very expensive. So my answer is there is no need to worry if you are late or too early, as long as your invested and have a profit then that is good enough. However, BTC is not means of getting a profit, the real use of BTC is to have an e-payment system in which we have control of our funds. But I understand if they use BTC to store value then using this as a currency is the real goal of the BTC.

Look back to 5 years or more ago or just even a year or two, the same feeling you've got with the rest and also me.
I agree that people who got in at 20k felt like they were late as well, people in 2018 all imagined they were too late and they missed it. Price hit back to under 4k after that, and reached to 68k, that is like 16x bigger amount if I am not wrong. That is proof enough that you are never late if you know how to invest.

Buy low and sell high, keep doing that and you will gain a lot of money .There isn't just bitcoin neither, keep doing this with like 10 coins and you should be fine. Learn the lows and the highs of coins and where it could go down and where the support is and then where the resistance is and you could basically make a good amount of money in a few years.

Too late to regret and it would be stressful if you do mind off about on missing out those golden opportunity on making yourself get in too early.Lots of us does have that kind of regret because we didnt able to know

bitcoin on early years because if we do then we would really be rich as of this moment. For now its not really too late for us to engage on even though we cant earn 2x-100x or something
thats why dont expect that much.

Nothing is predictable on this market thats why missing out opportunity is very that common.

I am frequently asked the same question: "Is it too late to invest in bitcoin?".  The reality is it's never too late to invest in bitcoin. The important thing is to remember the fundamentals of investing in cryptocurrencies:
1) Focus on the long-term
2) Balance your portfolio
3) Create a plan of action
4) Know your limit
5) Prepare for a worst-case scenario

The best way to invest in cryptocurrencies is with a long-term focus. Most bitcoin holders became rich without ever touching the coins or doing anything. The reason? They knew the value of bitcoin would continue to increase, and they were patient. Regardless of what you decide, stick to the well-known rule: Never invest more than you can afford to lose.

If the price is found to be high or you're late to get into bitcoin investment, then it is the mistake of OP not knowing the market. The market moves were completely unpredictable. As the market is speculative, based on the real-time happenings related to the cryptocurrency make impact over the price. For all users who find bitcoin at the peak can analyse and find the altcoin that gives best return out of the investment.

New bitcoin users enter the market with good understanding, because in the past new users have an understanding that bitcoin is an easy rich scheme and doesn't know how it functions and all. Just believing in ones word people invested in it.

I can relate myself to you for not getting in early. I knew about Bitcoin last 2014 but I ignored it after not taking time to understand about it and cannot afford to invest a single dime there. 3 years later when BTC rose to $10k, I was thinking back then that I should've invested at least fractions of BTC back then at least. And then I regretted once again of selling my BTC too early when it was treading water around $12k only to find it mooning to as much as $30k, $60k, etc.

What to repeat, we just need to go with the flow of what is happening in Bitcoin. Repeating will never happen, sorry is also pointless. Last year's Bitcoin holders will always be winners and we are never too late to have them.

Bitcoin can reach any price, but no one knows. You, me, and all of us always have regrets for not arriving earlier.
It's true we don't need to regret it even I also know bitcoin from 2016 until now always forget what I had that year, even if I still have it maybe I'm a millionaire, but I never give up because the current will definitely keep going because of me optimistic bitcoin can be higher if you believe.

I am not a winner because I am not a coin holder in the past, but I always follow bitcoin price developments continuously and this is how I know what bitcoin really means.

I think bitcoin obviously might not grow as exponentially now as it has grown from 2010 or maybe 2013, but is it going to go sideways forever? No, I don't think that too. I think it's just a phase of the whole cycle, and this thing always happens, bitcoin moves sideways then even touches the lowest points but then recollects itself and touches even greater heights, you might not see such big gains from bitcoin now like 50x-60x, but getting doubled tripled or even5x from here in next 3-4 years isn't a very tedious task for bitcoin to be honest, all it requires is huge whale accumulation and then huge adoption as well.

Never worry about the past but worry about when you are not brave enough to make a decision when you are already in the early stages of becoming the next investor. You need to know that bitcoin will hit ATH further in the future even though today you have seen its price drop by more than 40% since November 2021.

Unfounded regret is when a 2022 newbie comes along and laments why they didn't exist in 2009, 2010 or before bitcoin had a 4 digit price. So just do what you believe will work for the future and don't think about what you've been through before.

I don't think it's too late to join bitcoin even though the bitcoin price is currently in the $30k-$40k range because there are still many people out there who haven't decided to join bitcoin yet. So it's better for you to take advantage of the present time by investing in bitcoin and saving it for a while.

Bitcoin will hit a high, and that high will be volatile in the future. So never feel that you are too late to join bitcoin.

I agree with your opinion because it is never too late for those who want to be successful.
Moreover currently the price of bitcoin is still very cheap and this is the right time for us to collect bitcoins.

I've heard people say that about Bitcoin, no way, too late, back to 2010-13 and so on, bottom line: complaints and fears about the current price of Bitcoin, it is impossible to restart it too late.

I have a different understanding from those who say 'too late', in fact I believe this is something new that must be done with Bitcoin 'it's never too late' if I understand it, Bitcoin prices are currently more profitable in the form of short term trading.

I mean this way, if you trade in Bitcoin and buy the price goes down for example $39,372 today and make a sell trade when the price goes up $41,000, you already have a profit within 2-3 days of $1,628, keep doing it like that and I'm sure many investors are doing that kind of strategy today, try to understand if you buy 4 Bitcoins, as I said, $6,512 in front of your eyes, the terms are capital.

For that it is never too late, if you understand and understand how to trade Bitcoin today.

If you look at the current Bitcoin price and compare it with the Bitcoin price in the past, of course you will feel pessimistic because the price increase is very high.
But if you look at the potential future price of Bitcoin by looking at its history of increasing its price every 4 years, then it's never too late to buy it now and keep it for years to come. In the future you probably won't feel as regretful as when you wrote this thread.

You are tormenting yourself over something that is completely outside of your control, so stop doing that and instead concentrate yourself on what you can actually do as that is something you can actually change.

And even if we were to accept your scenario in which bitcoin gets to half a million dollars for each coin, a growth that seems to be too slow, that is still a growth that is many times bigger than the average growth that you can see in the stock market, so I do not see the reason to complain about it

If by the party you mean gaining 20x or more returns on one's long-term investment, then yes, I'd say you're late. It's not hard to see that over the years the price increased by fewer points than before. The distance between ATHs is getting smaller, and it's no surprise with a huge marketcap. I think a 10x long-term profit is still real, but nobody knows how many years it'll take. So it's not too late, of course, but the profits won't be the way they used to be in the early days. I think Bitcoin can hit a million at some point, but I don't think it'll hit a hundred million because there's a certain global economic limit to it (how much global economy is worth at a certain point in time).
