If I get you correctly what you mean is that individual company contacts a member of the forum by making him her a special offer to wear their signatures,  that is nit so popular here in the forum, but I am sure we still have some members of the  forum who have special offers to wear a signatures without any public signatures campaign to employ multiple others.

What is popular here in the forum is signatures campaign and it is under the manager who make the pay foll and the pay day and he is the representative between the company and the members.
It must've been a big honor for companies to contact members privately to wear there signatures, that must be in the early days when the number of forum members were not this much, I guess some pioneering members will still get the preferential treatments. What I met on ground is joining a signature campaign, through a campaign manager, and I think it makes the relationship between the campaign perticipants in the forum and the company they're advertising for to have cordial relationships.

During the time you were active on the forum, you used to get paid if you used a certain project or a certain company's signature on your profile and posted according to the campaign rules. That is, now if a manager brings a campaign and if you are selected in that signature campaign and after being selected, if you post in different sections according to the rules using the signature code and avatar of that particular project, then of course you will get paid. But the rule that has changed in the forum signature campaign is that now no manager or any member can promote any mixer campaign.

So yes, the number of active campaigns has reduced, but there are many interesting campaigns still running ranging from gambling sites to exchanges.

Why don't we talk about altcoins? a few years ago signature campaigns on altcoins were usual and didn't pay bad (in the cases the alt was eventually listed somewhere) but I'm not sure if they are still a thing these days. For those who are waiting the opening of a campaign with payments in BTC, it might still be an acceptable provisional option.

It is possible that there are members who are completely separated from everything that happens on the forum, so they do not know what is actually happening with sig campaigns (it is even possible that they have blocked signatures)
They can turn off users' avatars and signatures in their profile. Look and Layout Preferences with two following options.

Don't show users' avatars.
Don't show users' signatures.

but that is something that they can find out very easily without asking anyone. Even if you created an account in 2013 and have not been active in recent years, the forum has not changed too much in the sense that today it is more difficult to find your way around all the boards that exist - or use the forum search.
I agree the forum infrastructure does not change too much since 2017 when I joined the forum. Without and with merit system, some changes in Trust, feedback, it is nearly the same like 7 years ago.

Forum's help and search pages are helpful for finding basic guides.

Interestingly, apparently the price of BTC has "awakened" some old members from hibernation - and everyone is wondering the same thing - how to earn merits and whether signature campaigns are still something that can be used to earn money.
And they could not be more weird.

Some body who has over one thousand Posts on this Forum and pretty recent history asking whether Signature Campaigns are still a thing while over 90 percent of the Forum Posts contain a brand Signature under their text.  How more obvious can it be?

Even if OP has disabled viewing Signatures.  Every time they clicked on some Member of the Forum, they saw their Signature and most likely they had a paid one too.

Are signature campaigns still a thing in bitcointalk.org? Yes it still a thing although the signature campaign today not big as back then. I remember that all crypto token and altcoin using bitcointalk as main platform to do with ANN and marketing but after the born of Etherum now people or dev rarely using new coin with own chain or use bitcointalk as their platform. Because of that I believe the site not gaining as big as a few years ago and signature campaign is declining.

The big hit after mixing service is banned to do such an advertisement here so now only gambling and couple signature from altcoin bounties. Tho the salary is okay in my opinion consider in the third world like Indonesia

It seems like forum doesn't have the same influence in the crypto space as it once did. There are fewer active developers, investors, and new startup announcements. While the payments for posts in Bitcoin remain consistent, the altcoin bounties have significantly decreased. Despite this, the forum still maintains its credibility for managing effective social media campaigns, and the activities of bounty hunters can be managed effectively here

I am not sure this is correct.  looking at spreadsheet,  we can see that users are getting 0.005 btc or similar payments.
Yes different users have different pay rate.

My assumption people who get 0.005 BTC are only for avatar campaign and the users only have to post at least one post in order to get paid.

However, 0.005 BTC is still the highest among other campaign, at that time 0.005 BTC was worth of $215.

Which company pays the most?
I think exch.cx, blackjack.fun, hugewin are among the companies which pay more.
Nope.

Sportsbet.io is the company that pays the most, although the last update on public spreadsheet only on January 2024, but we can still calculate it.

There's a participant get paid for 0.028 BTC for making 25 posts, on January 29, 2024 Bitcoin price was $43K, it means so he got paid for $1,200 or $48 per post on that week.

I am not sure this is correct.  looking at spreadsheet,  we can see that users are getting 0.005 btc or similar payments.

If by any chance a campaign would appear that would pay $300 a week, I think we would have a phenomenon of "awakening" that we haven't seen since 2017 Cheesy
They will not be accepted by managers because of their inactive status for too long and no posts recently will not help managers to assess post quality. It's impossible to be accepted in good campaigns with pay rate like $300 a week for awakening accounts.

Except only if they are very trusted and brilliant members in the past but they still need to make some posts to show managers that they are same owners of these accounts, not new owners as account buyers and can not make quality posts. Some other common requirements from managers like minimum merit earned last 90 or 120 days like 5 or 10 merit. Awakening accounts can not meet this condition.

I remember years ago people used to pay you to use a certain signature.

Is this still a thing?

Which company pays the most?

Yes, still a thing, you can still be paid for a signature campaign in this community. Depends on each rank though, there are campaigns that still accepts a member position and up. There are campaigns that only accepts Hero-Legendary.

I don't know which campaign pay the most, but in a average, minimum for a Hero could be around $60-$75k, and for a Legendary, could be $100 tops.

As long as there is traffic on the site then there would be lots of companies who would want to advertise their services here. Although it been a while there was a new signature campaign. Perhaps if you wish to advertise your services here you can possibly reach out to some signature campaign managers you can find in the service announcement board.

That is not correct, maybe you have not visited the service board recently because worldofcoins just lunched a new signature, "CoinPoker.com"
with payrate as high as $100 per week. No doubt the new of campaign have reduced following the ban of mixers and other privacy products which were seriously competing in teams of payrate and number of participants.

The forum is still a very good place to advertise products and services because at the moment, it has remained the biggest and most active cryptocurrency platform that is bot free. Other platforms I know have more bots than humans and that is not healthy for marketing.

you can see in the "services" section which companies are holding signature campaigns and up to now the majority are filled by companies engaged in the crypto online gambling business.

in the "bounty" section there are also several companies that run signature campaigns, but because it is paid for with their new altcoin there is very little chance of paying out to bounty hunters.

I can see you have be absence from the forum since last year October 2023 and you just resume back to the forum may 9 2024, yes people are still receiving payments from signature campaign when they have the requirements of the signature campaign.

But now that it has been long you use your account in the forum, and you have 1 merit in the last 120 days, show that they will not allow you to wear their avatar and signature to participate in their campaign as a legendary because you are not going to meet up with their term and conditions of the campaign.

If you enter service section in the forum, you will see many signatures campaign accepting such thing in the forum and their payment rate which is a big money to participate.

Before I even opened your thread, the title already gave me reasons to speculate on you being some outcasted user and boom, you’ve been here since 2013, lol… that’s some time. Yeah, you weren’t outcasted but it’s good to have some of you forks return to meet the forum just as functional. We’ve been keeping the house warm for you guys and yeah, signatures are still a thing, still gets launches here and there to incentivize some quality posting as well as stimulate users to be good at what they do.
It never really would die out as, new and new cryptocurrency projects needing publicity keeps popping. It’s sure to be here for some time as much as Theymos allows.
About highest paid, I don’t care to look that up these days, it doesn’t matter much since the mixers got kicked out.

The pay rate is good in all signature campaign because that is what they wish to pay but currently i think blackjack has the highest pay rate.

Yes Bitcointalk signature campaigns are still existing. You can use this overview topic to see the lists of signature campaigns and their pay rate

Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 19-May-24]

Are you planning to advertise your company through signature campaign? This would be good.
The demand is still high for bitcointalk signature campaigns. And with other campaigns that have higher rate of payment compared to others, no wonder why some people are eager to participate in these campaigns and keep waiting when there will be slots open. As long as they continue to compensate well, signature campaigns will last longer.

Well, if you plan to advertise your own project or company, I can say this is a good start. Just try to find a reputable manager so that the campaign will end up more successful.
