I have bought a lot ethereum half of year ago now just waiting when it starts increasing its value like bitcoin. Hope ethereum will cost 500$ by the end of this year since bitcoin returned its half of maximum price (10,000$)...
Still a bit hesitant to buy alts at this current time and would rather focus on major coins that has lesser risk like BTC and ETH. There are exceptions though with projects that are aiming to solve the issues that a normal consumer is having against these big players in the space who are manipulating the market. One of the major telecom in Korea have now entered the scene and is aiming to eliminate how dependent we are with our local carriers and have a universal one instead. There are so much limitations from these companies, like us having no control of our data, fees, and more. Similar to how the government controls our money, and even try to control crypto which they don't even own at all.
I don't see altseason happening short-term but the future definitely looks bright for new coins in the market. As long as they deliver on their roadmap, everything should be good.

Alts have been known for their fakeouts. But it turns out, this time alts are poised to pop hard. What do u think? Its been five days since the moment alts first started showing signs of unrestrained bullishness. Im monitoring these suckers hell I do. Look up binance charts. Alt season may have just started. I am afraid that it would be another big fault. I have bought altcoins in a much better time period, but after a slight raise that decreased for 20-30 percent within a week. The market is still very unstable and I am trying to stay out for now.
At this point I’m into holding of altcoins since the price has not been showing any growth in the market. Although, I am still accumulating Eth and wait for the increase. Also, I still believe some alts is good to buy in a time price will surge up.
Again altcoin is facing some mathematical issues, so as long as if the price of coins is going to down most of the people who have faith in altcoins will grab. Soon we might at season because for the past one year altcoins are struggling a lot in the market which they have already touched their peak low level in the market.
I stopped buying alts a few months ago. I am trading some of the alts on Bitmex futures but for long term holds I am no longer adding. Its very difficult to predict what type of market we will get even if BTC hits a new ATH in the future. This time around looking at the way the dominance index is rising, it seems that people favor BTC compared to most alts.
So I got a few alts under my belt, I added more coins in the past couple of weeks but to prevent any future loses I am not adding any more. I already had a few which were delisted and have a price of 0 Sats pretty much. Alts are very risky but the pay-off can be huge if the market starts going all in altcoins like at the beginning of 2018.

For now, I chose not to buy alts anymore because I have already bought them in quite a large amount, for now I am more focused on saving while waiting for the price to rise, even though the growth is very slow, I will make Alts a long-term investment, currently right now I prefer to buy and collect ETH because its growth is very promising, so, it has the potential to get very large profits, especially at this time the price of ETH again is very appropriate to buy it, just waiting for the increase only.
I strongly agree with your opinion that not to buy altcoin again, moreover you have already invested a lot in altcoin. because it is undeniable that altcoin is currently waiting to move up and move in the good direction, even though it takes time in the future.
ethereum and bitcoin are better alternatives to hold and invest now.
There are already many who may be deceived by the state of altcoin, because when it has been invested there the value obtained is not surprising, even very difficult to believe it actually falls deeper. with these circumstances, investing in altcoin really needs a very careful analysis, because it could be that what we invest instead becomes lost in vain. it is still very difficult to accept the reality, although many altcoins can move well, but more are actually reversed with the bad ones.
I’m buying altcoins just a preparation for a bull market, don’t just buy the shit altcoins. I do have good altcoins with me that already gives profit to me before and I’m trusting it again like ETH. Altcoins season will come don’t buy when altcoins are already pumping because its will become an expensive altcoins.

I am not buying alts right now, but I am looking carefully at their movements. Lots of people started selling altcoins to buy the Bitcoin, which is reasonable though, but I think there will have an altcoin bull run this year, and it can start from now. I picked the SERO, ETH, MATIC to buy on right time which is yet to come.
I suppose that this is the best position to take now as nothing is clear with altcoins yet. We cannot also say that altcoins have already found a reliable level of support and all the worst for them has ended. Now, a lot depends on Bitcoin, if it continues to fall, then altcoins will receive an excellent incentive to drop to their minimum levels. If it happens, I will invest in Ethereum and Dash as I guess, these are the best alts.

Yes, I am still buying and holding my alts this year, because I believe that the price of altcoin in the future will also increase again, seeing the growth of market prices now is also getting better

Investing in altcoins is the solution of many investors but I think this investment is still very risky because we still have not seen stability in this market. In fact, any altcoin is at its own risk and we should not rely too much on this investment because it may cause you to lose more money. The best advice would be to just hold the USD and wait for the altcoin stage because it certainly won't take place this year.

Altcoins spending hard time while bitcoin start bull run. I think most of alts are now all time down. On that situation if you ask me about buy Altcoins then yes, I am buying still now. Because I believe alts markets should not collapse more at this moment. Because bitcoin show stability lately and that's why almost alts are stable. And it would be a turn for Altcoins recover. I believe most of traders just acquiring alts and hold. That's the reason why alts volume isn't hight and they are busy for getting profits from bitcoin trading. So I am holding few alts and trying to gain more alts at this time. Hope something positive will happen soon about alts.

I also hold altcoins, I mean a lot of altcoins that I don't even continue to monitor now as they are very cheap in value, almost worthless.
However, we never stop holding or loss our faith in crypto as we believe the market will eventually flip from bad to good.
Altcoins are still in bearish trend, even btc are bouncing back alts are not following. I think it will take time before we see a bull season for alts again, its been a long time since the last.

I don't rebuy altcoin now because I already buy it in a few months ago. Now, I only wait for the rise of altcoin so I can make a profit again. I know that the growth of altcoin will not happen soon, but I still want to wait and see when it will happen. No matter how long the altcoin bull run, I still hold my altcoin until it increases. But if ethereum can get down again, I think I will buy more ethereum because I believe that ethereum can increase higher. I still trying to buy bitcoin when it's down too.
No not at the moment since i am currently saving my bitcoins for the next halving which make sure the price will go up but if i were buying alts i will only choose on the top 10 in cryptocurrencies in coinmarketcap why? because those who were in top are proven to be stable especially ether and not other altcoins who weren't in top ten are pump and dump schemes so, i were you invest your money in bitcoin and if aren't investing in bitcoin just invest it in altcoins just make it sure that the coin is listed in top 10 performing coins in coinmarketcap
