Well, yeah it is increasing right now but we don't know what will happen in the near future here. The price could skyrocket, it could plummet, it could just stay relatively the same. Never know till it happens though!

Yep. Most people are holding their coins for a price increase. I will definitely not sell everything as I will hold some coins for ever. Just to see what happens with Bitcoin.

Thats a bold move but totally justified. Everything has risk, but currently the banking system is the biggest gamble.

The only reason I have a bank account is because I used to look for fiat online earning methods, and for shopping. Otherwise its not needed.

Those who held their money in Cyprus accounts got a big taste of the Keynesianist ponzi debt fiat system.

I think that OP has put the answer in the question.
Most of the people (probably all) if they hold is because of the hope that one day the price will increase to 1-2k.
Currently i am holding too, but if i get a good offer to sell i will sell, otherwise i do trade in alt coin market and back to bitcoin.
